Greater than one weekI bought this unit for my bedroom. I have a 2700 square foot home, large rooms and high ceilings. Room ratings are never large enough on purifiers, unless you have enough money to burn. My bedroom is roughly 225sq ft and I also have a large attached bath and walk-in closet... this unit works beautifully. The air was noticeably cleaner in minutes. On night mode...I live in a rural area, so there is no ambient sound to obscure it. Even sitting on my nightstand next to my head, I still cant hear it. Amazingly quiet mode. Ive gone through other purifiers that were less expensive than this one, but I can tell already this is much better quality. I wanted to give this a test run with the smaller unit before investing in the large one...I decided to purchase the larger unit for the main living area. This is a great unit. I will try to update after a few months of use, after having to replace the filter media, etc.

> 3 dayTheres like this high pitched electrical whine? I think its coming from the plug, but not sure. Its pretty noticeable, more than other electronic whines, and unfortunately with both the unit and outlet right by my bed and in a super small room (7x11), its rough and sometimes I just have to unplug it when its not smokey, which is unideal. I cant really return it since the smoke season here hasnt let up yet and Im asthmatic, but I would recommend against this for a bedroom or a room you spend a lot of time of high pitched electrical noises bother you.

> 3 dayI have three of these filters so far in my home. My husband suffers intense allergies and I have severe dry eye issues. Using this has helped him with not being miserable every morning, and has helped my eye issues as well. It cleans the air near my kitchen to clear the smoke/steam from cooking as well. I love it!

Greater than one weekI havent had these long so I cant speak to longevity, nor am I able to test air quality. That being said, I really like these units. I regret not picking up the larger one for my living room, but even the small one gets the job done. They are packaged well, no assembly at all (peel off a sticker and plug it in), with a simple one-button interface. They look good. They definitely are accurately kicking into high power/displaying poor air quality in that I can tell when I vape in the room and such they consistently turn up and flash the orange or red LED showing poor air quality. Some users may find them a little loud. When they are on high they are louder than my normal tower fans, but on low they are much quieter. As someone who regularly sleeps with fans or a/c, the noise level does not disturb me at all. If you are a very quiet sleeper, you may want to err on the side of caution with a larger size than your space demands- as the improved air maintenance should mean it kicking into high power less often. There may also be an option to leave it on low, but since it doesnt bother me I havent looked into it. All in all I would absolutely recommend these units to friends and family.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these because I wanted one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Living Room - I have noticed a dramatic decline in Dust in the room. Everytime we Dust, it would take about 2-3 days to have a coating of Dust again on tables, end tables, etc... (We have alot of electronics in the living room & 3 dogs) Now it takes about 11-13 days to be visibly on the same level as before. Bedroom - When we wake up we noticed a big difference after the 1st night with it. Our sinuses were alot clearer and breathing just felt better. May be a bit bias and maybe I was looking for it and noticed it but, we have been with it for a couple months now and I am still happy with them. I sleep with noise from a TV and the living room one also has a AC in the window near it so, I may not be the best to determine the noise level tolerance. When it is Red and using the high fan to really clean the Air, you will hear it though but, to me that is just it doing its job. Doesnt really bother me even when watching a movie or anything either. In conclusion - Noise Level - perfectly fine to me - Maneuverability - Soooo Easy to move where needed - Cleanability - Cleaning the exterior cover filter is as easy as vacuuming and/or tossing it in the wash. Interior HEPA filter needs to be replaced to be cleaned and right now its about 40 bucks for a replacement but, at about 6 months a replacement I feel it is still worth its while. Honestly, will be getting 2 more when we finish the basement.

> 3 dayBought this product for my wife who has allergies. At night she would snore a little due to the stuffiness from pollen or dog hair. Since weve ran this for a few days in our room, she sleeps so much sounder now. Maybe a little to well, she almost missed her work alarm...lol Very good product, would highly recommend it for cleaning your air. Even on High fan, you barely hear it at night.

> 3 dayHad a laptop overheat and it was full of cat hair, so decided dusting alone was insufficient. Got the Blueair Pure 411 because it looked like it: would wrangle excess fur balls, quietly disappear into the background, and is “set it and forget it” automatic. It’s been deployed for duty in my living room/home-office for two months now and mostly forgotten about it. It looks “nice”, perhaps a bit larger than I was expecting, but don’t feel like I need to hide it. Most of the time can’t even hear it from ~2 meters away. Surprisingly, it doesn’t kick on when the robot vacuum is running. Guess the vacuum’s filter is just that good. It does go into overdrive whenever I make popcorn. This is loud enough that I give it a few taps to force it to silent mode. If you subscribe to new air filters through Blueair (sent periodically every X months) there’s a discount over buying them individually on Amazon. So, take that into consideration if looking at the total cost of ownership.

Greater than one weekIt’s an ok product but after using it for a few weeks I’m not sure it’s doing much good. I have it in my man cave to remove allergens from the air. I think it gets most. I have a 700 square foot area and I think I should have bought a larger model. I like that if it detects stuff in the air, it increases air flow on its own and then slows as it gets it captured. It is quiet and not detectable unless it kicks in high mode.
