My old Sony MDR-V6 headphone still works great. But the pads became flaky and falling apart. This pair of earpads gave my old thing a new life. Installation only took few minutes. The headphone looks nicer than before and feels very comfortable. I wish this can last for a long time.

They are like brand new again

Perfect fit for the Sony MDR-V6 and very comfortable. In general, this is the second of my three purchases from Brainwavz this year, and Im quite happy with all the products from them.

I love these replacements. Very comfy. Easy to put on - a little puzzled by some comments that this was difficult. I hope they last a long time. I think the original ones were at least 25 years old!

I got these for the Sony WH-CH700ns. I wouldnt have had to replace them but I accidentally let my headphones get near a hot object and burned the originals. In terms of comfort, these are more comfortable. However the WH-CH700n has artificial Noise Cancellation, and I can tell its not as good with these pads. Not sure if its the seal or the perforated holes allowing noise in. Its also hard to understand the proper way to install as they have to go a certain direction and arent a perfect fit. With that said, these are universal for a lot of Sony headphones so you cant be too picky. Still a good purchase and they look better than the ugly grey the originals came with.

I have no idea why these things get so many great reviews. They are a huge downgrade from the original cushions that came with my 7506 headphones. They are too shallow and press my ears down, while on the originals my ears never even made contact. They are also hot and sweaty. They dont breathe well at all. I could wear the ones that came with the headphones all day and night, and with these I cant stand wearing them for more than an hour at a time. These things suck.

Good for replacement

These pads look cool and fit my Sony MDR 7506s, but they got a hole in them after four days of gentle use. Now theres some white thread sticking out...
