> 3 dayThese are so much better than the original earpads. The stock earpads lasted less than five years on my MDR-7506 headphones. They peeled and split and looked absolutely terrible. These perforated earpads not only look better, but they feel better and suppress noise more effectively. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

> 3 dayTHIS WAS A REPLACEMENT TO THE EAR PADS FROM AN OLDER SET OF SONY HEAD PHONES. THESE NEW EAR PADS WERE MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE ORIGINAL PADS. IM GETTING READY TO REPLACE THEM ON ANOTHER OLDER HEADPHONE SET MADE BY SONY.

> 3 dayAdmittedly at first I did think that these ear pads were quite expensive; however after reading so many favourable reviews,I decided to bite the bullet and buy some. BLINKING HECK, what a revelation these are to my Sony MDR-V6 headphones ! I cant believe how a simple change of pads can make such a change to the performance of them. I thought they were brilliant before, but now we are talking a major,MAJOR leap forwards,as they really do take the listening pleasure to a much higher level.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE EAR PADS AND FEEL THAT THEY OFFER FAR MORE THAN EVEN ORIGINAL SONY PADS (WORTHY OF FITTING AS STANDARD EVEN). SUPERB 5 STARS !

> 3 dayGlad I picked these up for my 10 year old MDRV6 headphones I’ve gone through my share of ear pads but these are by far my favorite. Huge thanks to Brainwavz for making these pads at an affordable price.

> 3 dayThey are comfy, but I was worried that these slightly thicker and denser pads would change the characteristic sound of my 1986 MDR-V6 cans. The fact is, they do, a little. The treble is a bit less pronounced, the mids are warmer (but not muddy) and the bass is somehow clearer. But whats best is the soundstage... its noticeably wider and more immersive. The MDR series was always meant to be a slightly less-cold but overall neutral studio monitor. These pads dont deviate too far from that mission, they just make these fabled cans better for every day, hours-long listening. IMHO, of course.
