> 3 dayIt did work well as a replacement and seemed to function great for a long time, but after 1 year and 1 month the padding on the outside that touches your ear has began to tear off leaving small little black chunks of it stuck on/around your ears. I guess for the price I expected this too at least 1.5-2 years which is why giving it only 3 stars instead of 5.

> 3 day- The part that goes around your ear with the Brainwavz is narrower than on the original.

> 3 dayThe first day or two is needed to break them in, but once they soften they stay on all day and I hardly notice.

> 3 dayI bought Geekria replacement pads for my Sony MDR-7506 which I reviewed with a 2 star because As the headphone speakers are now more distant, the sound changes. There is less bass. If I push them on my ears I have the same sound then with my older Sony pads. But the Brainwavz are much more closer to the original Sony pads. I got my bass back as the pads are much more closer to the original thickness. They are comfortable and just as hard or eazy to install. Ive went through multiple pads for my Sony and every single one of them is hard to install, tools or not. I recommend the Brainwavz over the Geekria.

21-11-2024My MDR V6 cans were starting to bug my ears, now that Im wearing them 6 hours a day in freakin Zoom meetings. I got these earpads and voila! Comfy, breathable, and good isolation. Now at least my ears are comfy while I sit in my home office hating Zoom meetings.

Greater than one weekThe quality seems to be better than the original. Installation can be a little tricky, so do it slowly and careful.
