BRAINWAVZ Perforated Replacement Earpads for Sony MDR 7506, V6 & CD900ST with Memory Foam Ear Pad & Suitable for Other On Ear Headphones (Turquoise)

I wasn’t unhappy with these but after two years, which is maybe a little less time than the original earpads lasted, they started to fall apart. The “skin” layer of the pads started to deteriorate, leaving bits all over my desk. Two years seems like not a very long time for the wildly out-of-scale cost of ~$20 that Brainwavz charges. The right price point for these should be ~$8 or so, which is the range in which I would feel less irritated about their lack of durability. Instead of buying again, I found an alternative on eBay for about $13. Even if those only last two years as well, I’m already ahead.

For a non-audiophile these are awesome. There is a definite improvement in the sound quality over the stock pads, though this might be because of sound isolation rather than an actual improvement. They are comfy enough to wear for 8+ hours a day while I work. I definitely recommend them.

Would buy again.

Look great (match the color of the stripe) , was a little worried because they looked thinner than my old beat up pads. But they feel great, increase isolation, and feel great! The pads were a little hard to get on, like it might have been 1% too small. But its snug so who cares.

Sony radio,top of the line from Amazon-no video! Ear phones have severe wear problem; and they do not match manufactures videos. The wire on the ear phones gets a knot in it and can only be extended to 4.8 feet, not 9.8 feet. There is no loss of clarity if you extend the wire 9.8 feet; however noise cancellation properties occur and one can feel slight pricks from the electricity on their shoulder. Some theoretical quality may be lost; but it is very small. The Sony MDR 7506 need to be reviewed. It is not a life time setup. Review Sonys videos.Wear is remarkably fast and the earphones should be downgraded! I will do this as soon as I can since I am at a public library with no sound reproduction!

My old cushions fell apart into small pieces and I ordered these. I like them more than my old ones. They are very soft and comfortable without sticking to the skin like old ones.
