> 3 dayIve got this hooked up to a dim/warm light with Alexa so that I dont have to get out of bed at night as Im dozing off and realize the light is still on. Working great still a few months down the line. Install wasnt the easiest in the world but definitely easier than another I had to return. I would recommend this product.

> 3 dayBroadlink even sent me a replacement for the first one I bought. I thought it was broken but it failed just as miserably as the first plug. I spent hours trying to connect this plug and actually stumbled onto the proper sequence once. But the real problem is how easily the device resets itself and then you have to reconnect it again. I spent two more hours without success and went with a slightly cheaper competitor and I’d recommend any considering this plug to do the same. The competitors device was easy as pie but this plug failed as flat as a pancake.

> 3 dayTHESE ARE NOW IN THE TRASH WHERE THEY BELONG! Ive wasted more time on trying to get the Broadlink app and Alexa to discover these. I finally got them to find one, and within an hour it Alexa said it was unresponsive and remains that way. Tried 2 more but could not get them to be recognized. I have a background in computer system and have several other brands of plugs (along with numerous Echo devices) that I have connected to Alexa. Buy this if you enjoy being frustrated by devices that dont do what the manufacturer says it will.

> 3 dayIm in awe at how easy this was to set up, given the depressing amount of time Ive spent fussing with WeMo plugs. Exactly as the instructions say: 1) plug in 2) connect to the Broadlink SSID 3) Wait for the system to tell you to sign in to broadlink 4) Input your real SSID & password, also email and name your plug 5) activation email arrived in 30 seconds 5) Open Google Home app, add device, select NoAPP 6) Wait for 7-digit email code and input Thats it. No downloading apps. No passwords. Even the EULA was short enough to read.

> 3 dayWe used the smart plugs with the Google Nest. They work well, but the installation requires registration with BroadLink, then with the Google Home app.
