> 3 dayThe instructions were easy to follow. Used it to connect a lamp in the master bedroom. Works well with Alexa AND Google assistant.

> 3 dayI bought one of these smart plugs about six months ago specifically because this one advertised as not requiring an app, which was perfect because I already have other smart plugs from other cheap Amazon manufacturers and didnt want more crummy smart home apps on my phone. That original plug set up easily with wifi and has been working flawlessly ever since. Fast forward to now, when I bought a new lamp for a different room and wanted another no-app smart plug, so I reordered the exact same plug as before. This one showed up and despite being advertised as no app (again, the ONLY REASON I bought it) now requires an app to function. Ok?? Well that was obnoxious but I already had it in hand so I said whatever and downloaded their garbage app onto my phone and set it up. If that was it, I would have probably still been decently satisfied with this purchase, except that this stupid plug just... turns off, every once in a while, for a few seconds, for no reason?? Ill be sitting there, and the lamp will just turn off and Ill have to sit in the dark for about 10 seconds, and then turn back on again. It happens very frequently, probably about every half hour or so. I tried plugging the lamp directly into the wall and it didnt happen, so its 100% the plugs fault. To add insult to injury this plug also cant be found by my Google home device with frustrating regularity which results in me having to bend over and push the button on the plug manually to turn it off so I can go to bed, which is even less convenient than if I didnt have the plug at all. Anyway I have to assume that the seller recently changed manufacturers or something because this is simply not the same product as it was before. Be weary of the good reviews here because they are most likely for a different product than the one youre hoping to buy.

> 3 dayAs one of the less expensive WiFi smart plugs, I figured Id give these a try with Home Assistant, an open source home automation system. With some effort, I got them working... for a while. I had to set up an account on the manufactures servers to set them up, using the cloud solution. But I was also able to control them locally with a system like Home Assistant. That all changed when the manufacturer pushed a firmware update which now causes them to all connect to each other, instead of my WiFi access point. Now the only way to control all but one of them is through the manufacturers cloud app. Im going to try a workaround, creating four different accounts on the manufacturers app, one at a time, and re-connect each one to a different account. But obviously a future firmware update could break this, too. NO MORE CLOUD-BASED SMART HOME DEVICES FOR ME. The few dollars saved are not worth the aggravation of allowing manufacturers to make changes which break things.

> 3 dayExtremely difficult for me to figure out set up. took three tries and numerous hours as I am not tech savvy. No instructions, and bad packaging labeling. Horrible experience. But once I got it it runs an item 2xs per day for a minute as hoped. (would like 30 second duration but only full minute programming)

> 3 dayI bought 4 of these to control Christmas lights in 2021. After Christmas I boxed them up with the other Christmas stuff. 2022 Christmas setup they all will not connect. Ive reset them, removed and reinstalled software, followed instructions on Youtube, everything. They will connect to my router, but Alexa just will not accept them. They were very easy to setup in 2021. Not so much anymore. One season product. Im going to try another product.

> 3 dayPretty easy setup and simple integration with Alexa. Broadlink has software available, but if youve already got a smart device controller (I use an Echo Show 5), then youre good to go. This is the least expensive smart plug I found, and it works great. Only downside is its a different manufacturer than my other smart plugs (which are Kasa brand), so I dont have the same scheduling tool, but Alexa brings it all together nicely and this works really well.

Greater than one weekI am a pretty tech savvy guy, but it took me several hours over multiple days to figure out how to get these things to work. The instructions were unreadable, written in tiny font, AND were faded, like the printer was out of ink? I almost sent them back. Now that they are working, the WiFi range is very good, and they do have a high quality feel to them. Just be ready to consult YouTube videos (several) and spend some time figuring out what to do, its very confusing.
