> 3 dayI have arcade machines that are difficult to turn. I use these plugs to set up voice command and they work perfectly. Setup is super easy with NoApp and it syncs with Alexa in seconds.

> 3 dayI consider myself pretty tech savvy and cant figure this one out ... All of these smart plugs honestly tend to give connection issues... This one is no different.... Just spend 3 more dollars ..

> 3 dayBroadlink even sent me a replacement for the first one I bought. I thought it was broken but it failed just as miserably as the first plug. I spent hours trying to connect this plug and actually stumbled onto the proper sequence once. But the real problem is how easily the device resets itself and then you have to reconnect it again. I spent two more hours without success and went with a slightly cheaper competitor and I’d recommend any considering this plug to do the same. The competitors device was easy as pie but this plug failed as flat as a pancake.

Greater than one weekI bought one of these smart plugs about six months ago specifically because this one advertised as not requiring an app, which was perfect because I already have other smart plugs from other cheap Amazon manufacturers and didnt want more crummy smart home apps on my phone. That original plug set up easily with wifi and has been working flawlessly ever since. Fast forward to now, when I bought a new lamp for a different room and wanted another no-app smart plug, so I reordered the exact same plug as before. This one showed up and despite being advertised as no app (again, the ONLY REASON I bought it) now requires an app to function. Ok?? Well that was obnoxious but I already had it in hand so I said whatever and downloaded their garbage app onto my phone and set it up. If that was it, I would have probably still been decently satisfied with this purchase, except that this stupid plug just... turns off, every once in a while, for a few seconds, for no reason?? Ill be sitting there, and the lamp will just turn off and Ill have to sit in the dark for about 10 seconds, and then turn back on again. It happens very frequently, probably about every half hour or so. I tried plugging the lamp directly into the wall and it didnt happen, so its 100% the plugs fault. To add insult to injury this plug also cant be found by my Google home device with frustrating regularity which results in me having to bend over and push the button on the plug manually to turn it off so I can go to bed, which is even less convenient than if I didnt have the plug at all. Anyway I have to assume that the seller recently changed manufacturers or something because this is simply not the same product as it was before. Be weary of the good reviews here because they are most likely for a different product than the one youre hoping to buy.

> 3 dayI have purchased many of these plugs over the years. The application was never very user friendly but I figured it out. I do not use Alexa or Google home and don’t want to. I recently had to go to the new application which is more organized. No I tried adding a new plug to my house however and it has been nothing but a pain in the neck. It will not connect to my network no matter what I do. I have received the email saying it is connected but not showing up. This has me very frustrated. Although I like the concept and having my lights on a timer Islas that is what I want these timers have timed out. Seems as if you don’t use google home or Alexa they don’t work. I’ll have to find another option or just go back to my old style dial timer. Anything is infinitely better that trying to add these to my application and network since I don’t seem to be able to making them useless Update: Daylight savings time really screws things up. I have at least 18 of these. I will be replacing them all with a different brand. These have frustrated me to no end

> 3 dayIm not normally a fan of wifi devices, but these are impressive to say the least. Installing them is as simple as plugging them in, opening the connection to the device on the wifi of your phone and activating them with the phone. Ive had no trouble with them disconnecting, or failing. They work extremely well and the range they pick up is phenomenal. My phone will barely connect to the hub I have them on where theyre located but they work flawlessly. Im impressed. I have three of these in my shop a good 40 or more feet from my hub thats in my house. Im blown away that they dont lose connection that far away. Once theyre installed, all I had to do was look for them in Alexa and use them. No app needed. Thats impressive stuff right there.
