> 3 dayThe description is incorrect when stating the port on the side is a 2.5 barrel plug. I purchased a USB-C to 2.5 barrel plug adapter as the BTECH mentioned to purchase gets so hot that it melts the plastic housing around and the motherboard. So when finding an alternative the stated 2.5 was too large. Though when I purchased a USB-C to 1.7 barrel plug it fit, but did not charge the battery which confused me further. I have on solution, but thought this info was important.

> 3 dayLong battery life. The built-in charging port is a great feature, since I dont have to bring the whole charging cradle along.

> 3 dayPurchased this unit to power a Baofeng BF-F8HP handheld in my 4x4. Plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and eliminates the need for using the radio battery. Super convenient for those needs.

> 3 dayI would have given this a five but I had to remove the long bus that runs from the top to the bottom of the battery case and bend the ends just past a true 90* angle so as to get the bus to lay in the case better. Then I had to use some clear silicone caulk to insulate that same bus so it would not rise up out of its slot and cause a short as some other reviewers have experienced. This case is a very complicated part to mold and Im very impressed with the quality of it. It fit my UV5R+ perfectly. If you choose to go the route I did please use some very tight fitting needle nose pliers so you can get the accuracy needed.

> 3 dayWorks just fine but didnt exactly fit the radio. Theres a thin plastic lip that has to be trimmed off along the bottom of the cavity where the radio fits in that has to be trimmed off. Why they couldnt just make it to fit the radio to begin with I dont know. Once this is trimmed off, it fits perfectly.

> 3 dayEven though this accessory could be a bit more substantive, (feels cheap and took some modification to the detent to snap into radio), other aspects work as advertised. It shows a max of 7.8W going into the radio (BF F8HP) when holding down the SQL button to check wattage, but the full charge on a battery pack is 8.4. Contacted BTech about this and they said this is normal. It is what it is and is a good accessory to have to save your batteries. Great to have and it really saves on your batteries! I now have two of them for the power supply I have in my house and it works fine. BaoFeng Tech personnel have ALWAYS BEEN HELPFUL AND WILL REPLACE DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND WITH NO HASSLE. They replaced a defective battery eliminator upon request and after going through the RMA process. A reputable company is important when buying electronics mail order... I recommend buying ONLY from BaoFeng Techwhen buying any BaoFeng radio equipment.

> 3 dayThis battery did not come with a charging cable. I assumed it would but it did not. It can be charged from the charging cradle that came with the ht radio. However, other extended life batteries like this one come with thier own charging cables.

> 3 dayI have ordered, received, programmed, and used four BaoFeng radios and accessories from BTech and thrilled by the performance of the radios and the service when I have a question directed to BTECH. I received one radio that sent and received perfectly but the red transmit light was not functioning. BTech got me an RA number immediately to return for repair or replacement. I mailed it in to be received by them Monday. On that very Monday I received a notice that the repair or replaced radio was in the mail back to me. I call that exceptional service. They really stand by there product.
