Bought two of these for an event our radio club was helping out with. Lasted all day. Took it to another weekend event and operated each day, all day long with the usual nightly charge.

Nothing else. This works with copies of the UV-5R like the Tidradio GM-5R. It’s a great battery. I just thought it’d be a two-pack for the price.

Great idea. Great product. However, This has been warned about multiple times and cannot be said enough... Fix the top center battery contact tab before you ever use it. I bought 2 of these and one in one unit the tab was moved up and making contact with the other one when it arrived. Both the silicone method and the small piece of plastic are great fixes. I went with the latter because it seems a little more permanent

I tested this at work in a Motorola battery analyzer and it came up short. I forget by how much but it was about 10 or 15% short. still, a lot longer than the original battery.

Product works, but sometimes for no apparent reason while using the product with the radio after transmitting a message and release of the button the radio will power off and back on again reading out the message and not receiving the first 5 seconds of someone else’s transmission. This has happened with a couple different of these to both me and my father on separate radios. This “glitch” is isolated to the battery eliminator pack.

Fast charging and longer lifespan than original batteries.

Not much to say, it powered my radio just fine off the 12V socket and I was able to save my battery for when I arrived at my destination

I received my battery and noticed the retail packaging that it came in was kinda off. So I opened it and found that it was leaking from the connectors on the back where the charging stand connects to it. Looks like maybe it got wet somewhere at some point prior to being shipped to me. So I requested an exchange and the second one I got was perfect. Worked right out of the box and fit the radio perfectly as expected.

The eliminator works very well. I have my hand held on the bench with my base radio so I can monitor two bands at the same time. This set up of course would use up the battery very quick. The eliminator saves the battery for mobile use.
