Great iron, but awful UI. The two button UI is slow and clumsy. Each of the two buttons doubles as a press-and-hold macro. If you press-and-hold the wrong button, you will put the UI into iron calibration mode and you can screw up the irons calibration. I have made this mistake already.

I liked the machine. Much better than the cheap all-in-one irons I used to buy. Really helped with the quality of my solders as well. Used it to create my own xlr cables. Much cheaper to do and I got a free soldering iron I can used for other projects. DIY it!

I love this iron. Its solid, dependable, has a nice easy to read temperature display, its easy to set it to the precise temperature you want...who could ask for more? Skip the cheapie $15 direct plugged iron youd get from the nearest electronic store, and get one of these, and youll have an easy to use iron for life. Definitely recommended.

Cant get a better iron for the price. Very high quality. I have had no problems doing pin point soldering, bigger projects or desoldering right out of the box.

Excellent piece of equipment. I have used other soldering equipment, but this one is far superior to others that I have used. I would highly recommend this soldering iron.
