California Air Tools 8010A Aluminum Tank Air Compressor | Ultra Quiet, Oil-Free, 1.0 hp, 8 gal

I just got my new compressor, easy to put together it’s actually smaller than I thought it would be but man it’s just inquired. I write very few reviews but I wanted to let everybody know that I am optimistic this is the best compressor I’ve ever bought. It is actually quieter than a normal conversation which shocked me. I got the aluminum model for the lighter weight. I’m sure this thing will work flawless for 20 years

I didnt know sir compressors got this quiet. In a closed single car garage standing right next to the compressor I can have an inside voice conversation. With the door to the house closed my wife can just barely hear it.

I really like the noise level; its just perfectly quiet just like they said. It doesnt take too long to fill the tank and its very compact and easily portable. It does build up a lot of heat while running but not to the point of being extreme. The instructions were fairly good. The unit I received had one issue that for me, was easier to fix than return. The pressure regulator was not screwed on tightly and had a very slow leak. I had to take the cap off the regulator remove the engine wires and the air supply line so I could remove the regulator. I put some Teflon pipe tape on the big pipe and replaced all the reverse order. It wasnt a big job but you need some mechanical aptitude and some tools to accomplish. I would have given it a 5 star if not for the regulator issue. If you are not mechanically inclined, send it back for a replacement.

How can I give this 11 stars? Where has this been my whole life, its super quiet and pleasure to use. I have a huge RV garage 2500 Sq ft 18 ft high ceiling and it can really echo. but this is almost whisper quiet

I can be on the phone next to this thing and you hardly even know its running. I would definitely spring for the aluminum one because its so light! makes moving it from workplace to workplace a breeze.

Ive used this compressor a good bit now, it works very well and is very quiet compared to any regular compressor. It keeps up pretty well when I blow off my zero turn mower, once you let it build up pressure. Its pretty light also compared to its louder counterparts. Looks like pretty decent quality, Im glad I bought it.

Very quiet! Capable of 1/2 impact tools used in moderation such as tire changes. No issues so far, but only used a few times.

Upgrade from a small 3 liter tanked compressor to reduce noise. Using for airbrushing. Having a big tank has cut down own the motor running constantly. The motor is quiet for an air compressor. Not as quite as the one I was using before, but not too loud either. Build quality is solid. We will see how it stands the test of time.

It was quiet and the wheels made it very easy to move it. I used it nail gun and also to pump air in my cars.
