> 3 daySo if your buying this for a air brush this review will help out,, I went from a harbor freight oil less air compressor to this California air compressor. My harbor freight air compressor ran all the time and was very noisy. This air compress isnt silent but its allot less noisy then my H/F compressor and the bonus is once it reaches 100 psi it shuts off and that is allot of air brush time before it calls for air again. its a 8 gal air tank. One thing this compressor is missing is a water trap I installed one and glad I did because even though there is a water bleed valve on the bottom it still puts a little water in the air its sending to the air brush so install a water trap. Also I wish it would have had fitting for a air brush it doesnt come with any and that is a task of getting the right fitting to make it adapt to a air brush. The front rubber foot needs to be improved to a better design. also I am pretty sure it can be made quieter by installing a better front foot on the compressor. Its definitely worth the money, but you can tell its china made, the off and on switch seems very cheap. Over all I am happy with the purchase. I personally dont think it could run air tools for like a mechanic. This is perfect for air brushing. I bought the aluminum tank and seems of good quality. probably the cheapest air compressor you can buy with a large air storage tank you can buy for air brushing.

> 3 dayI can be on the phone next to this thing and you hardly even know its running. I would definitely spring for the aluminum one because its so light! makes moving it from workplace to workplace a breeze.

Greater than one weekI have 2 smaller California Air units and was very happy with their performance. And extra happy with their quiet operation which was a priority. For this location I need more air capacity and went with the 8010A unit. Just as quiet. Also happy that I went with the aluminum version. The first time I used it was with my impact tool to take off some stuborn lug nuts. It is not Factory Air but good for what I am doing. I love California Air. I have always changed out the Quick Disconnect on the regulator. I just pefer a different version. Be careful not to overtighten any new nipples at the regulator. it is plastic and it will split.

> 3 dayIts quiet, but already showing issues of not keeping up. Purchased to run as the air assist for my laser cutter, kept up with air demand perfectly to start, but 2 months later it takes forever to fill and no longer keeps up with the laser.

> 3 dayThis compressor is so quiet that it could be a medical unit. It takes as long to reach pressure as my old ten gallon, which seems weird because its so small. This isnt a complaint... I love it. I will put a different handle on it, tho. Maybe taller wheels, too.

> 3 dayThe wheels are cheap as hell and constantly come loose. It has a warning on it against running the compressor for more than an hour or so or else it will burn up. If youre just driving nails or doing light painting its fine but if youre planning to spend hours with the compressor running continuously, or you plan to leave this plugged into your garage 24/7, this is not the device for you. This is very much a hobbyist grade machine for light work.

Greater than one weekI am a general contractor and have had allot of compressors, i purchased this compressor to install in my work van and run it on a 3000 watt inverter it does great it works properly and does not draw a ton of power. I’m pleased with the product, its quite and performs as should!!! I had a dewalt similar compressor and it would not run of my inverter 14 amps. No ratings on maneuverability and light weight because it will never leave its place in my van.

> 3 dayI put it in my basement and no one hears it on either floors above. Fill time is mediocre as expected. I am very happy with this equipment.
