> 3 dayBought this for my dad for Christmas. Finally got to use it recently. It is very quiet, as it was advertised. If you watch the video, youll have a very good idea of its noise level. The only negative, and its pretty minor, is the length of the handle. I would have like it to be 6-8 longer. It is still easy to move around, though. Much easier than the pancake compressor my dad was using before. And WAY quieter.

> 3 dayBeen wanting a quiet compressor for years. My old one was annoying to say the least. This one is quiet and holds air the best of any compressor I’ve owned. It small but for my needs quite adequate. Paid a little extra for the aluminum version. No regrets.

Greater than one weekWorks well for filling tires and blowing away air. Dont expect to run any air tools with this. The tank is much too small.

> 3 daySo quiet when its running (we can use it in the house and have a conversation at the same time). Seems efficient in terms of consistent cycle during use. Our lesson is you *must* drain tank when youre done for the day. We left it pressurized and after one day the check valve spring was compressed and it wouldnt start. Once we figured that out, the fix was pretty quick and easy but this is more finicky than other consumer-level compressors.

> 3 dayNot much to complain about. Low noise as expected however it just feels cheap when moving it around. Some good bearings for the wheels would do it well!

> 3 dayIm running a home metal working hobby shop in the basement, and have been agonizing over putting an air compressor down there for power drawbars and blowing off parts. I heard about the California Air Tools compressors, so thought Id give it a shot. One word describes this compressor - AMAZING. Quiet enough it is not noticeable in the shop, and it isnt heard upstairs. Now, just hoping it holds up over time.

> 3 dayBuilds pressure fast & very low noise. The geometry of the handle & wheels couldnt be more useless. When you try to wheel it around it will do a wheelie & flop on the back of the tank... Im only 56 tall, so its just a bad design. Get the aluminium model cuz you are going to just carry it to move it.

17-11-2024I like it. It tips over backward though if you’re not careful. Needs more lateral and longitudinal stability. Better wheels would help and maybe a few more stabilizing feet.

Greater than one weekThis is my second California Air compressor, the first was smaller and had a steel tank. Ive passed the smaller one to my son and he uses it with an air brush and as a general purpose compressor, he loves it. As stated its very quiet and delivers all the air I need for an air nailer and general purpose. I blow dust from computers and will eventually use it for a Laser engraver air assist. I highly recommend California Air.
