    Greater than one week

The compressor works well. Gets up to pressure quickly. I did measure the decibels from ten feet and I got 67-68 db on my phone decibel meter. So certainly not 60 db But definitely quieter than the standard compressors. Mine did not say to not use an extension cord. Though others have commented on this. So be cognizant of this. I use mine in one location right next to the main power outlet.

Havent used it on a a job yet , however it is very quiet and easy to move / pick up . Its half the weight of my old compressor with slightly greater capacity . I will review again after I have some run time with it .

I use this all day, and its so quiet I keep forgetting to shut it off at the end of the day.

I have 2 smaller California Air units and was very happy with their performance. And extra happy with their quiet operation which was a priority. For this location I need more air capacity and went with the 8010A unit. Just as quiet. Also happy that I went with the aluminum version. The first time I used it was with my impact tool to take off some stuborn lug nuts. It is not Factory Air but good for what I am doing. I love California Air. I have always changed out the Quick Disconnect on the regulator. I just pefer a different version. Be careful not to overtighten any new nipples at the regulator. it is plastic and it will split.

Very quiet! Capable of 1/2 impact tools used in moderation such as tire changes. No issues so far, but only used a few times.

It is definitely quieter than my last one and light weight, which makes it fairly easy to transport to job sites. Because it is cheaply built, not surprising for the price, Im really paranoid about damaging it in any way. I dropped my last one a couple of times and it still held together. Not confident that something wont break off with this one. Otherwise, it does what I need it to do.

Im running a home metal working hobby shop in the basement, and have been agonizing over putting an air compressor down there for power drawbars and blowing off parts. I heard about the California Air Tools compressors, so thought Id give it a shot. One word describes this compressor - AMAZING. Quiet enough it is not noticeable in the shop, and it isnt heard upstairs. Now, just hoping it holds up over time.

Bought this for my dad for Christmas. Finally got to use it recently. It is very quiet, as it was advertised. If you watch the video, youll have a very good idea of its noise level. The only negative, and its pretty minor, is the length of the handle. I would have like it to be 6-8 longer. It is still easy to move around, though. Much easier than the pancake compressor my dad was using before. And WAY quieter.

Replaced my pancake compressor. That thing was so loud. Unpacked it in the living room and turned it on. Wife was asleep in the room above. It never woke her up, I give it two thumbs up.

Didnt know what to expect with this compressor (I have only had larger ones). Very pleased with performance and power. Not very loud and easy to maneuver. I would recommend this compressor and would give it more stars if I could.
