The online experience this franchise has created is unmatched. Those whove played before will be excited for new challenges, greater perks, and high quality maps. Those who havent will be pleased.

MW2 is comparable to your grandmothers gaudy jewelry. She wears a ton of it. Its big and colorful and flashy and kind of hard on the eyes but she thinks it looks great. The fact is she way overdoes it and looked much better 5 years ago when it was more basic. She looked really nice then but now kind of like a cheap hooker (sorry grandma). MW2 looks like a cheap hooker right now. It seems overdone with too many unnecessary attempts to change things just to say it is different. Maybe after playing it for a few months it will be more tolerable but right now I am struggling with it. I really do not like it as well as COD4 no matter how hard I try not to. Too much flash, its hard to take it all in. Too big of maps that feel like you are in marathons at times. Too much opportunity for the snipers who love to get secluded and pick you off as you run by like a deer under a tree stand. It has great scenery and atmosphere if that is what you want in a video game. I want great game play. COD4 had that for me. Right now MW2 is too much like grandma. Sorry, just being honest.

Very fun online mode, and interesting intel spec ops mode to play with friends. The story mode if your not a player of MW1 maybe confusing but the story and music is great! A bit short but still worth the bang for the buck.

Thank you for having this product exactly how it was described. We traded this game so long ago and then our PlayStation got hacked, so we hadnt played for awhile, now we can show the kids and still be as fun!

First, before I state my view of the game, let me say this: If you havent played it, stop reading any & all reviews!! I dont care if you rent it, I dont care what system you get it for, JUST EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF! Just because you may share a point of view with someone else on one topic, doesnt mean you two are identical. Okay then...

I had heard all the hype that this game garnered and I picked this one up. I enjoy the Call of Duty franchise, and I was looking forward to this release. I was hoping for a good story after I believed that COD 4 was a little soft in this department. The story this time around was a lot better. There are a lot of exciting moments with gut wrenching twists. The campaign is a little short though taking about 5 and a half hours to complete. I was disappointed in the length. The online is about the same as COD 4 with some new weapons and upgrades, though it felt like I had done all this before. The spec ops is a type of co op that is used in the game. They are just sections of the campaign taken out and you can either do it by yourself or with a friend. Infinity Ward got really lazy here, why cant the whole campaign be co op?
