This game is as good as expected. The only people who have complaints are those expected the game format to radically change, (eg: through the addition of locking to and shooting from cover, etc.). The single player is short but visually stunning. You are really buying the game for the multiplayer though, youll be addicted, find some friends to play with online for free and enjoy.

I love this game. The action is amazing and the graphics are beautiful. The only thing i dislike is how short the story mode was, it could have been much longer. Other than that, this game was amazing. Hooah!

this game sucks you in and packs a punch of action. this is a must play, lots of surprises that makes the game become personal..........in a good way.

amaying game I love the singeplayer

Got the game very quickly but every time i go to play it it freezes after i get to a checkpoint or when online mode every time i finish a round.

I picked this game up because I was a huge fan of the first Modern Warfare and I can honestly say I love this game way more then the first! I started playing this game when i got home from school one day with the intent to play maybe 1 mission...5 hours later im still playing and cant seem to turn the game off its simply that amazing. Some of the guns from the first game are now in the second but a few did not make the cut. While we lost some guns we gained twice as many new guns that are even better. I find the story to be simply amazing! I cant find anything wrong with it or anything else in this game except for the fact that it ends...

Let me start off by saying I have played every call of duty, medal of honor and so on and so forth. I feel this game was very very heavily over rated. I was able to get the platinum trophy for this game in a matter of two days. The story takes only a couple of short hours to complete, and the glitching/cheating is out of control. This game I feel turned out to be a desaster in a very short amount of time. Id rather play mag where there are more options and things to do than in this game.

Admittedly, I got a late start with COD MW2. I didnt begin playing it until around December so Ill tell you my experiences since then. Everyone can agree that while the single player mode is EPIC, it is definitely short by a lot of standards. While the storylines are a lot more ridiculous than the first COD MW, I thought it was much more exciting, challenging, and more fun to play this time around. If youre one of those people who are afraid to play online for fear of being dominated by kids with voice changers, then do yourself a favor and simply rent the game and play the story mode one time through. The cost of admission for this game really is the multiplayer mode which is the DEFINITIVE experience............. if youre playing on XBOX 360. Anybody whos played the multiplayer mode on PS3 knows how it goes; laggy matches, problems connecting, and always getting dropped. This is because PSN and IW fail to get any dedicated servers to accommodate the enormous demand for this game. They hired a third party company to run the multiplayer mode on PS3, which has been a complete failure thus far. This is a direct contrast to the XBOX 360 experience as Microsoft runs their own servers A LA Xbox Live. While you have to pay to play on Xbox Live, its definitely worth it as Microsoft seems to run a better ship when it comes to online play than PSN which is free and is lacking as a result. My advice is if youre a serious FPS multiplayer, your best bet is the XBOX 360 edition and definitely not the PS3. If you insist on playing with a PS3, like me, make sure youre pluged into a hard ethernet connection and NOT wireless, make sure you have adquate internet (High speed Cable preferably), and dont get your hopes up too much.

I have been waiting since the first Modern Warfare game for this game. Was it worth they wait? I would have to say yes, does it break the Call of Duty mold? Not really.
