the best multiplayer!! I was hardcore Halo, but now love MW2!!!

New guns, new customization options for online play, good maps, and a coop mode thats pretty sweet too! The only thing I wouldve liked was a longer single-player campaign mode, it took 6 or 7 hours to finish, but I guess thats typical of shooters. Played through on veteran the second time, and liked it a little better.

I love this game. The action is amazing and the graphics are beautiful. The only thing i dislike is how short the story mode was, it could have been much longer. Other than that, this game was amazing. Hooah!

(This review is assuming youve played CoD4 Multiplayer. It might not be helpful if you havent). Im gonna keep this short because I have to get back to playing.

DO NOT BUY THIS PC GAME USED UNLESS YOU CAN GET THE STEAM ACCOUNT FOR IT. This game uses Steam to activate. Once this game has the CD-key activated its tied to the Steam user account. If you buy the game used, make sure the person gives over their steam account to you or you will be hosed.

I received my game from the UPS man today at 11:30 MST and after a few chores, I was able to get up and play. I popped the game in and of course I had to go through 2 updates, 1 system (3.01) and 1 game update (1.01). I wasnt sure what the updates were for, nor did I care; I just wanted to start playing the game. After the quick updates I was on my way. I beat the first Modern Warfare in about 5 or 6 hours and it was a great game with high replay value. I definitely anticipate the single player to be as great in MW2 as it was in the first MW. I immediately went into multiplayer and have been playing for about an hour and I tell you, it is fantastic.

I finished the campaign on regular and completed all of the solo Spec Ops Missions. Im aware that Spec Ops are recommended to be played as 2 player but the real challenge here is playing it solo. I currently have 52 out of the 63 solo stars possible. Some of my favorites include O Cristo Redentor, Body Count, Homeland Security, Armor Piercing and Estate Takedown. I also tried Free for All Online but the Spec Ops part had me hooked and is the best part of the game for me. I would love a video game like this where its all just solo Spec Ops!
