> 3 dayNeeded a decent printer after TWO Lexmark Wally World cheapies refused to work after a while. I just wanted to print out my tax returns and stuff. The Canon was easy to use and setup. Just hope the ink cartridges dont dry up. I keep them in a glassine (dope) sealed bag, with a wet piece of paper. Hope this works. OK printer so far....

Greater than one weekI bought this because it was cheaper and easier than to get my broken one of the same model serviced, plus I had a few of the ink cartridges and I didnt want those to go to waste. The printer works as stated and is a great basic printer for anybody. I received the item quickly and with no issues. Great transaction!

> 3 dayThe first one I received didnt work right out of the box. A new one was sent which is fine. It is an attractive unit, however, in order to keep a supply of paper in it, you must open the top and front for operation which spoils the looks. I dont use it too much, so I just keep paper elsewhere and keep the unit closed.

> 3 dayI was needed a printer for quick jobs at home and purchased this machine because it seemed stylish. It has been a wonderful saver given space issues in my home. When the top and tray fold up (which is very quick to do, this sits like a nice black box on top of my desk. It is unobtrusive. I can easily stack stuff on top of it if I need the space. The printing is quite nice, though the ink is expensive. I would definitely not suggest getting the ink from anywhere other than an authorized dealer. I have tried to get the ink on-line a few times, but have ended up with cartridges that have so little ink that it is not worth the money. I have since decided to only get ink from Staples, where I can be sure that they are not putting some fractional amount in and sending it to me. I use to have an HP and would have no problem finding ink on-line, so this is a bit unique to the cannon 40/41 vendors. Print quality is what you would expect at $50. It does the job for office work, but obviously if you are a photographer and need the highest in quality pictures, than you should probably pay up for some of the fancier printers. However, if you just need an occasional print job that can be a reasonably grainy, this will do the trick (I sometimes print CD covers with it. Its fine).

> 3 dayThis printer was bought due to the low price and I hoped for the best possible. Well, I am fully happy with what I got for the money without a doubt

> 3 dayThe new printer straight out of the box showed a jam signal. The Canon service technician on the phone could not help us. We are suppose to find a Canon service dealer and have them repair it.

> 3 dayI bought this printer recently, and every time I print anything it feels like Im chugging a mountain dew while snowboarding down the Rockies on a snowboard thats actually a lightning bolt, and its as if someone transplanted the Rockies into some extreme combination of Disneyland and the worlds largest half-pipe, with girls in bikinis cheering me on at all sides, and theyre all just shouting my name and telling me how great I am for picking such an awesome thing to print and we all cant stop drinking mountain dew but theres an endless supply so its okay.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, this printer is very professional and sleek looking. It doesnt take up much space at all when its all closed up, and prints reasonably fast for most moderate users. Drivers installed easy, came with great free software, free 4x6 photo paper, and free 4x6 premium photo paper. Best value for the price (Although you can find it at about half the cost at a not-to-be-named superstore)
