    Greater than one week

I ordered the 7 by 9 (seven foot by nine foot) tarp. Overall Im pleased with it, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a water-resistant, sunlight-blocking tarp. Since Im not an expert on tarps or canvas, its hard to say exactly how high-quality this item is, but it seems to be sturdy and rugged. I guess time will tell: I currently have it in the backyard covering a barbeque grill, mini-fridge, and some other items I dont want damaged by the elements. Coincidentally, I installed this tarp during the early afternoon, and it looked like ominous weather. By 5pm that same day, strong winds and rain hit my city. The tarp handled the wind and rain admirably: didnt get soaked, and didnt even come close to tearing loose. My only complaint with this WHITEDUCK canvas tarp is that the spacing of the grommets is slightly wrong. They advertised 24 (twenty-four inches) between grommets, but in fact its more like 25 or 25.5. This was a minor problem for me, and now the tarp is a bit looser that Id prefer. Oh well; its good enough for now.

The canvas tarp arrived ahead of schedule which made me very happy. It is very heavy and durable with good water resistance. I used it as the roof for the grandkids tree house. As I am older I did not want to climb on top of the tree house to put a roof on so I stretched the canvas tarp across the beams and tied it off. Works great and the grandkids love the tree house.

I use tarps for the front and back of my carport hay storage. My old ones were falling apart (Id had them for 9 years, in the hot Texas sun and the really strong winds we get at our ranch. I ordered these as replacements and I am very pleased by the quality. Theyre heavy, sturdy and I really like the way the grommets are set with reinforcement. These look like theyll hold up great, and the price was very reasonable. I got a set of 2 for the front of the hay storage so I could check them out. I will be getting another set of 2 for the back as well.

We have been trying to replace the cover on our pergola and have failed trying to find the right size. Sure, we could order a custom fit but it would cost a fortune. I searched custom sizes in the tarp departments. Not only were we able to find a perfect fit, but its a positive water resistant material, weight and color. And the price was best of all. Great experience with this company and purchase

Its hard to get excited about tarps but this one might do it for you. I have used a lot of tarps over the years that were supposedly heavy duty. Most were bad but a few were ok. The biggest problem for most was the brutal southern sun. It will destroy any plastic type in a heart beat. Last year I tried a heavy duty one designed for covering hay. It lasted 4 mos. before turning to threaded wheat. All did have one thing in common, the grommets always ripped out. When I opened up this tarp I was in shock, the pictured did it no justice. There was so much reinforcement especially in the corners that I feel they will be around long after the tarp itself. Hopefully I believe I have found a great tarp. Time (sun) will tell

I needed a heavy duty tarp to move. It needed to be water resistant, durable, and stable against strong winds on the highway. It’s rains every time I had to travel and normally it can be fairly windy as well. All the tarps I have ever bought in the past would unfortunately last one trip. The wind from the highway would completely destroy one end of my tarp without fail. So I got tired having to replace tarps and bought this one. It was a little expensive for my taste but it worked. It never moved due to the weight, it still looks like new event after my trip, and all of my boxes stayed very dry. I am very happy to say this company makes one of the best tarps I’ve ever used.

I love this tarp. This is a Heavy/Heavy Duty Tarp, yet well made with great stitching and grommets. I use it inside of my new White Duck 10 x 14 Prota tent to cover the floor/vinyl ground sheet. The dimensions are perfect for my tent. It is thick, soft, warm, waterproof, durable, and easy to clean. This tarp makes an incredible tent even better by adding insulation against the earth and making the ground softer on your feet, not to mention easier tent cleaning at camp break down time. It would also definitely work well as a tent or canopy, although it belongs exclusively to my Prota. I believe this tarp would be bullet proof in any application a tarp would be used for.

I used the tarps on a boat, but they were hung as a sunshade, above the boat, so there was plenty of air movement. Despite this, mildew grew on the underside within a matter of months. I had the impression these were mildew resistant, but maybe Im wrong. Still, its not something I want to sit beneath.
