I purchased these beause the local childrens meusem uses them for face painting, they are super easy to use and allow for beautiful face/skin art and shading. They are easy to clean between kids and dry so that they dont smear when touched, They come off easily with water and are great for sensitive skin.

I bought these for a little kids birthday party to use as face painting crayons. I tested them on my own skin a few days before the party, and the color stayed on for over 6 hours. The colors wash right off with a damp cloth or baby wipe. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!

Oh my, how I love these as they are smooth and creamy and a delight. They will last me a very long time. I am so pleased that I spent extra to buy these crayons.

I love these. They have been my favorite for years. As you probably know by now, they can be used like a regular crayon (but with much nicer and more intense colors.) But what makes them kind of pricey but justifies the price, they are water-soluble. They can be used dry and then gone over with a damp brush, which makes a lovely effect - actually much more intense and beautiful that the dry color. Or you can dip the tip directly into water and then draw with them (for short distances). Or, you can rub a wet paintbrush against the tip or side of the crayon and voila! You have watercolor on your brush! So they are very versatile as well as having lovely clear colors. The 5 stars is for the wet-usage. The dry usage I would only give them a 4. (Because theyre not as intensely pretty when dry). I suggest traveling with them and carrying one of those travel brushes whose handle fills with water.

Really like the concept of water color crayon, but it takes a lot of practice to blend these well. Not as easy as watercolors or watercolor markers.

With or without a brushful of water to melt the colors together, these create quick, intense and satisfying pictures. Great color selection with same names as professional watercolors. Used by adult artists in our household, though it makes us feel like kids!

These are really amazing for writing on skin! Weve been using them as an alternative to face-paint.
