Caran dAche Classic Neocolor II Water-Soluble Pastels, 15 Colors

This is my first water soluble crayon or pastel and I love it! Bought them for travel. While you don’t get quite the same blending capability as actual watercolor they are still fun and pretty versitle. I wish I would have purchased a larger set of colors. Bonus, my 4 year old daughter was in awe that my ‘crayons’ turn into paint and has been enjoying creating along side me.

Definitely worth the money. These water soluble pastels are wonderful to use in your art projects. I wouldnt purchase them for kids because they are very expensive, but its nice having them in my collection of art supplies.

they work well on watercolor cards, smudge beautifully with a wet finger giving a terrific variety of washes and waxy intensities. Integrate well in mixed media pieces especially with markers and ink.

These colors are vibrant. Im new to using watercolor crayons as opposed to pencils. The colors in this set are wonderful. They are packaged well with a foam padding to protect the tips.

Well this was for my wife so what do I know except that she loves them! She is a professor of fashion design and is sketching or drawing when she is not sleeping! Caran dAche, a great Swiss brand.

I really like this product. I had used the water soluble crayons previously & love the effect they produce. I was having trouble finding more until stumbling upon them on Amazon. These are not just for kids, they are great for anyone who wishes to do watercolors w/o as much mess.

I love using these crayons. I am not a professional so I have no expectations or experience to compare to but the colors are beautiful and I am having a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

What I was looking for.

Better than I hoped it would be. The colours are amazing and so easy to apply and dissolve. Really happy with this purchase and pleased i have ordered the large box with 84 colours.
