> 3 dayOnce you use these neocolor IIs, no other water-soluble pastels will do. These are in no way waxy, like some cheaper versions. And the colors are bright, intense, and do not fade. A little goes a long way with this set, which I have owned for a couple years now, and am still using!

> 3 dayI am a teacher and these were recommended by a teacher friend who has been using her set for over 10 years. They are awesome for face painting. Now all the kids know I have them and weve used them for theatrical make up, fake bruising and a Halloween carnival face painting booth. I hope to have them for years to come.

Greater than one weekI love thesecrayons. They are smooth and have great pigment. I love to draw outlines of objects and add water to create watercolor effects. The colors are so yummy too. Igor a sample of neocolor fluorescent crayons (not waretcolor) and loved adding some accents and additional color. Fun to use and cant wait to do some Markmaking in my journal

> 3 dayI purchased the water soluble Caran dACHE crayons of Switzerland from Amazon. They are indeed fun to work with. They are a crayon yet you can add a wet paintbrush to the colored picture and change it into a water color or use a damp brush on the crayon directly taking color from the crayon to the paper. Like using regular water color paints but taking up less room. Very nice product with or without water. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Greater than one weekYears ago I attended a Renaissance festival where these paints were used to make stunning face designs. The paint adheres beautifully and washes off instantly with no stains left in the skin. Whether you used these for artwork or something else, you wont be disappointed in this top quality product.

> 3 dayThese are so easy to use. They are a very good value for the money and I would absolutely say go for it if youre thinking of trying these. I had other water soluble crayons and when I started to use these, I could immediately see and feel the difference in them. They are now my go to for background coloring in my adult color books. The pigments are so vivid and bright and the application is smooth and even feeling. You can do light build up doiflng layers or put down a good heavy amount and get that super pigmented look. I also scribble a little on my caran darch pallet for crayons and water based pencil mixing and then I pick it up with my water brush and it works wonderfully. Theres so many good things about these crayons. They are beautiful also. Good selection of colors for any project and amazing potential. Im so glad that I went ahead and spent the extra to try these crayon out. I am more than satisfied and wish I had even more of them now. ❤ you wont be disappointed. And if you dont push too hard when using for background colors, the lines will completely dispense and disappear and you cant see any of them they will blend seamlessly

> 3 dayI should start this review off by saying that I am NOT an artist. I am a grandma that just loves to color and through the years Ive added different pencils and pens to my coloring arsenal. Ive tried a variety of water color pencils... Faber Castell, Castle, Artiza but was never attached to the results because no matter how many techniques I tried, all of them left residual pencil marks. I stumbled across several watercolor tutorials on Pinterest and the Caran Dache Neocolor II was a consistent medium used in some of my favorite finished coloring pages from other enthusiasts. The price was definitely a sticker shock but I had already spent about the same amount on other watercolor pencils (that for all intents and purposes were now gathering dust) so I decided to treat myself to an early birthday present, bit the financial bullet and placed my order. I have to say it was the best coloring purchase I have made. The crayons melt like butter, are incredibly vibrant and when it dries the slightest amount of water can be used for additional blending. It leaves no residual marks and because of this you can literally scribble it on the page versus having to be precise with pencil strokes. The pics are my first attempts... The Kerby Rosanes Worlds within Worlds moon pic is a WIP that is 100% Caran Dache Neocolor II.... the finished Hannah Karlzon potion page was my first attempt to complete a background, add a galaxy to one of the potion bottles and show a unique blend in the blue bottle. Other mediums were also used..... the newest Nelco Neco Story of Precious Cats shows a condensed early galaxy in the crystal ball. I absolutely love, love LOVE these crayons and am so glad I bit that financial bullet and ordered the largest set straight out of the gate. Best coloring purchase ever and I use them all the time!

> 3 dayI bought these for a little kids birthday party to use as face painting crayons. I tested them on my own skin a few days before the party, and the color stayed on for over 6 hours. The colors wash right off with a damp cloth or baby wipe. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!
