Christmas with the Kranks

This movie is such a classic and brought back so much memories as a kid!

Funny holiday story - obviously a comedy - I am a fan of Jamie Lee Curtis... Im ok with Tim Allen - together they are funny. Story goes that adult daughter is leaving for the peace corps and wont be home for Christmas - Mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) loves the celebration of Christmas and is sad that her only child wont be home. They live in a tight knit nosey neighborhood. Tim Allen gets the idea they could skip Christmas and take a sunny warm cruise instead. Neighbors are unhappy the Kranks are skipping Christmas and then the daughter announces she will be coming home for Christmas after all with a fiance to boot. Lightweight story but sometimes you want something new at the holidays. We usually fit this one in. We purchase the streaming version so we dont have to store the DVD.

A great movie and blu ray quality!

Love this movie. i used to watch Christmas vacation with the family but it has a few parts not as family appropriate. This one is good for the whole family and super funny.

In the 1st 15 minutes, I wanted to go hide but Dan Akroyd showed up and then I knew it was going to get better. And, it did. Once the hijinks became sufficiently absurd, it was more enjoyable. And, it is an absurd plot. The carolers made the movie for me.

Family Christmas movie favorite

This particular copy will not play in the USA. Glad I had ordered two, one from another vendor. I am very dismayed regarding this product. Because it was an international shipment (not my choice) it cost me more for the return postage ($13.70) than was the cost of the product to begin with. I had to return it in order to receive the refund. I dont feel it was fair to me, the consumer. The Brits should have known that their DVDs wont work in the U.S.A. Apparently there is a difference in the electric power in some way. I have no knowledge of these things, but I dont feel that this should have happened. I will appreciate a reply concerning this. This is a hilarious Christmas movie. Always a fun watch!

My family and I always enjoy movies weve never seen before, especially around the holidays. This one is fun and silly, but the premise is also rather ridiculous and I ended up disappointed in it.

Love love love this movie. Super cheap price! And worth more than I spent it’s hilarious every time I watch it
