had a great experience! I had a problem with my shipping address and emailed about it, I got a phone call hours later and they corrected the problem (that was my fault, not theirs) and mailed it super fast.

I bought because my 19 month old grandbaby could not get enough of baby one. Truly. Do bought because Amazon posted bought together. But not a good idea. Would love more like the first baby one.

Another great DVD in the Classical Baby series. I only wish, for their length, they were all on one DVD.

My children loved all of the Baby Classical. They would sit in front of the TV from infants & be glued to it. It is also pleasant to listen to while you try to get somethings done while they are preoccupied. Much better than listening to Dora or Barney. I would rather get Classical Baby stuck in my head for the day than one of those. They are now 5 & & YO and if I turn it on, they still sit & watch it.

As a fan of Classical Baby products, I worried that Poetry might be too advanced for my toddler. Nope. She adores it. Additionally, she re-enacts the scene on the dvd cover -- she lays on her stomach and reads thick books while quoting the poetry to herself. Poetry takes a difficult subject and brings it to toddler level, without watering it down. The segments are interspersed with small children who explain the poems and explain how poetry works. The animation exceeds industry standards. As an adult, Ive never liked poetry, but now Im fascinated by it. This dvd is phenomenal for both toddlers and adults. I highly recommend Classical Baby: Poetry.

My baby is 9months old and she absolutely loves this DVD. In fact both she and I are glued to the TV when I play this DVD. Unlike the other 3 Classical Baby DVDs (they are all excellent), this one has interviews of other kids about why they like poetry and what they think about it. My baby loves watching these kids as much as the animation. If you just get 2 of the 4 Classical Baby DVDs, Id get the Music and Poetry.

This is a high quality product. Were very concerned about what we expose our son to and this HBO product meets the highest standards.

Young children are instinctively drawn to the sound of rhyming words and the rhythmic cadence of poetry. Add colorful animation, music, and footage of real elementary age children, and Classical Baby has created an appealing half-hour program that encourages an early appreciation of poetry. Produced in association with The Poetry Foundation, Classical Baby: The Poetry Show is a compilation of 13 favorite poems from poetry masters like William Shakespeare, John Keats, Woodie Guthrie, and Gertrude Stein. Famous personalities including Gwyneth Paltrow and Susan Sarandon recite poems like Elizabeth Barrett Browning"s "How Do I Love Thee?" and Robert Frost"s "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening." William Carlos Williams reads his own "This is Just to Say" while Hoagy Carmichael performs Johnny Mercer"s "Skylark" and young children recite poems like William Carlos Williams" "The Red Wheelbarrow." Poems are accompanied by bright animation that"s highly appealing to children and many are followed by brief comments from elementary age children. Some preschool and elementary-age viewers will be transfixed by the entire production while others will pick and choose the segments they find interesting, but what"s most important is that every young viewer gains exposure to the art of poetry. --Tami Horiuchi
