I love this thing! I love that it locks in and wont slide around like the crappy one I had from my local fabric store.

I like it but the plastic seems flimsy and I dont expect it to last very long. I think the metal ones would last longer.

I was looking for a sewing gauge that would not bend easily, like so many of the metal ones do these days. After much hemming (no pun intended) and hawing, I chose this one based on some advice from a sewing group. I truly think this is a bit over-priced (and I was lucky enough to get it for $8 not the current price). I do not quilt so I think some of the features are a bit unnecessary, FOR ME personally. I DO like that it clicks into place but on the other hand, I feel like it might snap some times when I do that. This is what I wanted: A gauge that would not bend & a gauge that had a slide that would stay in place during a task. Does this do that? ... yes. Am I happy about that? ... yes. Do I think I had to pay a lot of money for that? ... yes. BUT ... is there another product that does that? ... No. (Not that I could find). I think what it comes down to is: when you get tired of buying metal gauges that bend and dont stay in place then you may decide to buy this. Dont get me wrong, it does A LOT, but if you dont use all those features (like me) its a waste ... I hope this was helpful ... Would I buy this again if/when it breaks ... I dont think so.

I make clothes for my grandson who has Dwarfism. That requires a lot of modifying patterns and this tool is very helpful to measure accurately.

best seam gauge Ive ever owned. There really isnt much to say about it because its a seam gauge. Its used to measure seam allowances along sewing projects. This one has a sliding gauge that locks in place. I havent yet used mine for all of the other purposes, but it is a versatile tool that can take the place of other notions in your sewing cabinet. Its made well, and I think it will last a long time. Other seam gauges that I have purchased are flimsy and lost shape after a while which results in having to purchase another; I dont think that will be the case with this one.

This is a very cool tool. If you have one of the old metal seam gauges this tool youll love as a replacement!

I really love this sliding gauge. It is accurate and easy to use. I have an old metal gauge and the slightest bump will throw your measurements off. This gauge locks into place and its wider so you can use it for tapered pieces and still have an accurate measurement.

A multi-functional sliding gauge for easy marking. Use this handy tool for marking button holes; seam allowance gauge; hem gauge; circle compass; T gauge and that is only sewing. Try this handy tool for scrapbooking; card making; paper crafts; and much more. Adjustable from 0 to 5-inch in 1/8-inch increments. Constructed of plastic. Imported.
