> 3 dayWhen I ordered this gauge I wasnt sure I would like it. It was so different than the one Id used for years. Now, I dont think Id go back to my older styled one. I prefer the ease and versatility of this sliding gauge.

> 3 dayIf you sew and have used other gauges with a slide and have had the little slide move when youre using it, this is for you. It is made very well and DOES NOT slip when you are using it. Yes it is a little more pricey, but well worth it. If you are a quilter this is a must have, and if you just sew in general it is a valuable tool.

> 3 dayOne of the handiest sewing gadgets there is. I give one to every grandkid with an interest in sewing.

> 3 dayWhile I am not sure that I would choose this tool to as a compass (one of its stated functions), I do like it very well and a button hole spacer (absent using a Simflex) and measuring device for hems etc. standard, excellent Clover quality. I am pleased with the purchase.

> 3 dayThis is my second one. The first one I used my rotary cutter with--dont do that! I cut part of the flat part off so hence, the second one. It is very handy and locks into place so it doesnt move unless you want it to.

Greater than one weekWhen I first got it I thought it was a bit tacky & plasticky. However, it has proved to be invaluable. Wish it was made in a better quality though. Always a little concerned about breaking it!

> 3 dayVery versatile tool that I plan to use to draw lines for consistent calligraphy spacing, and as a measuring and tracing ruler for papercrafting. The sliding measure glides smoothly and will allow for quick and easy measurement markings. I can also see possibilities for marking bookbinding holes spaced at certain distances.

> 3 dayThe Clover 5 In 1 Sliding Gauge was somewhat disappointing to me. Mainly it was smaller than I pictured it, and kind of flimsy. I already have a couple older gauges that work for small seams, but wanted something for measuring larger quilt borders. This product didnt work for that; and it was pretty pricey also. I donated it to my quilt guild for their next boutique!

> 3 dayMeasuring is probably my least favorite part of sewing. However, this sliding gauge has made it a lot easier to get accurate measurements when cutting fabric with my rotary cutter and mat. I use it along with a clear ruler, and it really helps. The locking feature makes it a lot easier to get accurate measurements. Ive also used a metal ruler with a plastic piece that didnt lock. This one is much better.

> 3 dayI am hoping to use this on my next quilting project to make sure that my binding is turned over on the quilt evenly for final sewing!
