> 3 dayHas multiple uses, though, so will be versatile as long as it holds up.

> 3 dayI find this Sliding Gauge extremely useful when Im doing various quilting tasks. Making sure the applique is centered or the sashings & boarders are even, and so many more tasks required during the making of a quilt. I would recommend this for anyone doing any type of sewing.

> 3 dayVery handy. Ive had it a while but just started using it when I found out my 4-thread serged stitch was really 3/8 wide. Sure enough that is what it measured. That 1/2 added on 4 seams really does change the fit plus I had added about 1/4 to all the seams to serge off. No wonder the fit was too small. Also, its much easier and smaller to keep handy by the machines rather than a long ruler.

> 3 dayI upgraded from my old black metal seam gauge and I really like the longer arms on this one. It makes ironing up seam or hem allowances more accurately. Like it so well I bought a second one for my other machine and class.

> 3 dayThis is my second one. The first one I used my rotary cutter with--dont do that! I cut part of the flat part off so hence, the second one. It is very handy and locks into place so it doesnt move unless you want it to.

> 3 daySaw this on a YouTube video with Nancy Zieman. I have the original metal type but thought this looked interesting. While I cant figure out all the uses, the main use as a gauge works Terrifically! I wish it were metal but it is so helpful. I am able to mark things out much more accurately when sewing which saves time and frustration! Ive even ordered several other of Nancys items because this one worked so well. Oh, I am a sewing grandma who always looks for new things to sew and ways to make my sewing faster and more fun!

> 3 dayWhat a let-down! Im generally a fan of Nancy and her notions, but this one is not very useful. First, its flimsy plastic. I have to keep it out of the fray when Im sewing just to make sure it isnt cracked. Also, the sliding gauge doesnt stay put, despite the little locking plastic piece that is supposed to hold it. If this was all metal Id love it. Theres a hole inside a rotating disc near the top for drawing circles, but the hole is really small. A needle fits, but not a t-pin, which is what you might want to use with a padded work surface. So, good ideas but cheap materials. Again.

> 3 dayWhile I am not sure that I would choose this tool to as a compass (one of its stated functions), I do like it very well and a button hole spacer (absent using a Simflex) and measuring device for hems etc. standard, excellent Clover quality. I am pleased with the purchase.
