Clover 9506 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge with Nancy Zieman

> 3 dayVery handy. Ive had it a while but just started using it when I found out my 4-thread serged stitch was really 3/8 wide. Sure enough that is what it measured. That 1/2 added on 4 seams really does change the fit plus I had added about 1/4 to all the seams to serge off. No wonder the fit was too small. Also, its much easier and smaller to keep handy by the machines rather than a long ruler.

> 3 dayI like this versatile tool very much & think I will keep the directions so I get the fullest use out of it. If it were made of metal, I would give it 5 stars.

> 3 dayUsed this to replace a cheap seam gauge that was problematic and I am so glad I did! This one is sooooo much better. Very strudy and locks in place, making checking seam allowances way faster.

> 3 dayI buy seam guages by the dozen. Should have bought this years ago. Easy to read. Makes adding seam allowances and marking hem fast and accurate.

> 3 dayIve only used this for hemming so far but found the wide gauge much easier (and faster) to use than the old-style hem gauges.

> 3 dayIts much better than the metal gauge Ive used for a long time. I love how the slider has a push button, so it doesnt move around so easily. Its more flimsy than I was expecting, but I still find it to be a great product and Ill be using it a lot in my future sewing projects.

> 3 dayI had trouble keeping the sliding marker in position on my old ruler. The slider on this one stays in place with a ratchet-like holder. Theres a button release to allow you to move the place holder. Im going to love this little ruler.

> 3 dayWhen I ordered this gauge I wasnt sure I would like it. It was so different than the one Id used for years. Now, I dont think Id go back to my older styled one. I prefer the ease and versatility of this sliding gauge.

Greater than one weekI bought this seam gauge because of the affiliation with Nancy, the Clover brand, and it looked like it could really do all that it said. I was a little disappointed when I took it out of the packaging, because its a little flimsy and the push button mechanism looks and feels like it could break easily, if you dont baby it. I would have paid more to have a better product that I feel would last longer!
