> 3 dayI bought this because it was recommended by the instructor of a woodworking course that I purchased online. The first time I used it, I was using the 3 hole saw to saw some holes through some 3/4 cherry. I could tell by how it was cutting that it was garbage. I only needed 4 holes for my project, and on the 3rd one, the center of the bit ovaled out so that the auger piece could no longer grab it. These are thin Chinese garbage metal. Maybe its fine if youre drilling through thin pine boards, but I wouldnt recommend this for much else. Spend a little more and buy a quality product is my advice!

> 3 dayThis would not be a good set for constant or commercial use. However, for the price it is a great set for the occasional need of several different hole sizes. Easy to switch from one size to the other and a very compact case that doesnt take up much space.

> 3 dayNot a good buy for any practical utility. May be ok for thin plastic. The drill bit had trouble getting through a 1.5 inch pine board. I used a 7/32 drill bit to pre drill. The 1+1/2 inch hole blade wasnt very sharp. The saw dust wasnt being ejected out, despite pulling it out every 1/8 inch or so. I ran my drill at half speed and paused every 30 seconds (hoping not to build up too much heat). I thought maybe I wasnt spinning fast enough to get the sawdust out of the teeth so I speed it up. The wood started smoking (of course) so I stopped. When I ran the drill in reverse (slowly) to pull out the hole saw, the drill bit broke (see pictures). Also, the depth of the saw is a hair shy of an inch (so getting through a 2x4 takes two passes). Just thought Id iterate that here because it didnt help my frustration (I fully take responsibility) . Reading it and experiencing it are two different things.

> 3 dayThese holesaw‘s work like they should the only issue is they aren’t deep enough for the project that we were doing. We were drilling through a 2 x 4 and they were not thick enough to go all the way through the 2 x 4.

> 3 dayIf youre looking for an affordable set of hole saws for woodworking at home - this one is working pretty good for me so far. No complaints on my end at all. If your intent is to buy something thats going to be in use at a shop with a lot of regular use per day - then I suspect you might want to invest in a jigsaw or even just a more heavy duty kit (youll see some listed for $60+). The blades dont seem strong enough to withstand a heavy amount of use, but I wouldnt expect that at the price point.

> 3 dayI bought these hole saws to drill through a laminated 3/4 piece of plywood. I needed two holes and the hole saw felt dull about half way through 1st hole. The 2nd hole was a challenge as the hole saw bracket broke and stripped at the chuck. I would say these are made for very light projects but they are cheap enough to be disposable.

> 3 dayEven with soft pine, I had a hard time using this product. Spend the extra money and get the real stuff

> 3 dayThey are not the fastest bits I have ever had. The <2 bits allow you to use the drill bit to remove the wooden puck after drilling without much issue. They do not clear themselves of dust when drilling so I woudl suggest you remove them every so often to allow for less binding up. They are not going to last a long time form what I can tell but take up little space and are organized for a few small projects.

> 3 dayI had to install a/c split duck and needed 3.25 hole saw. This set was a tad more expensive than name brands but you got so many more sizes than just one for premium brands. It barely did the job and took very long. The inside of the case smelled very bad and was oily. I probably will not have to use again. If using for only 1 job get the better brand with correct size and dont bother with this. For many jobs and sizes, do not get this brand. For occasional use, this brand might work for you.

> 3 dayLots of reviews about broken drill bits - This product allows you to swap bits to one of better quality. I had no problem with the bit at all, nor did I have any issues with the hole saw itself. I was cutting into drywall, so I really didnt expect any. Bottom line - This is really the equivalent to HF stuff: You get what you pay for. I needed it for one small job, and it worked just fine. If you dont set your expectations too high, you wont be disappointed.
