> 3 dayA necessity for drilling holes for water supply/drain pipes for a new bathroom vanity that had a solid plywood back. I was skeptical right at the beginning of the first drill when I smelled essence of pine from the plywood, but slow, steady pressure saw the job through. Even when I moved from the back to the front side where there was a nice, finished veneer surface, the drill cut through with perfect holes with a fine finished look. The only drawback was that no instructions were included with the package, and being a novice woodworker, I managed to get the job done without destroying the finished surface of the vanity, (Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars.)

Greater than one weekIt seems like a cheap set thats made in china of the cheapest metal. The case wont latch properly so expect everything to get loose and tumble inside. This is a classic case of You get what you pay for. I needed to drill some holes in ABS plastic junction boxes, drywall and plywood every once in awhile and it worked fine, hasnt broken yet. The saws stayed attached to the drill and did not come loose unlike other cheaper alternatives, however I do not anticipate them to handle your more heavy duty jobs or consistent use. For the money spent and the verity you get, it could be worth it.... I probably wont buy it again.

> 3 dayIf youre looking for a cheap wide-range set of hole saws for soft woods, this is your kit. If youre looking for a premium set of hole saws, youll need to spend much more money. Compared to a true premium saw, these are slow and dull rapidly. This set is definitely only good for SOFT wood. They arent very deep, either: only good for ~5/8 depth cuts.

> 3 dayA lot of pieces for the money. Worked for what I needed. Only complaints are that they are thin and wont go through anything Thicker than an inch or so. Also case is a bit flimsy. Worth the money.

> 3 dayThese are OK for occasional use, but I wouldnt get them if you need a hole saw often... kind of flimsy.

> 3 dayWell, for $20 bucks I guess it could have been worse. On the first use - on plywood, with a little gentle pressure initially - one of the teeth broke off. I do not claim to a pro, just a homeowner, but even starting the cut was a chore. It ate up the side panel I needed two holes in. Fortunately, this is for the dishwasher and should never be seen. If you do buy these, be very gentle!!! Update: 11/10/2020: I tried using another saw and the mandrel slips constantly - contacting the seller to request a refund.

Greater than one weekThe bit for the hole saw broke after about 5-6 uses. Its cheap so I didnt expect much, but still, the bits are so brittle that they should give you two. Especially since they dont use a standard sized bit.

20-11-2024Just received this item yesterday and so far so good. The hardest part is removing the wood from the saw without taking everything apart. If there are any issues I will update my review.
