If youre looking to padlock a fridge, look no further. This was an easy way to lose a little weight by locking up my snacks and putting the key in a block of ice in the freezer. If I wanted to have a snack, I had to REALLY want it, waiting to defrost the key and all that jazz. I think the adhesive will last a long time on this, as it doesnt feel too loose, not feel like the adhesive is very stiff and brittle.

You MUST apply 90 lbs of pure pressure to each one. HaHa. Im 57 and 135 lbs. So i called the hubby in to apply the pressure.He pushed into it for about 60 seconds.Now you have to WAIT 24 hours before putting the lock on...Gives the straps time to adhere.. Before you install. Know This.THEY CAN NEVER BE REMOVED. SO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT.ALSO IT WONT ADHERE TO WOOD. Shipping was fast. Everything was packaged neatley I got the one with a lock N key. Im very Happy.. Its been close to 2 months. These locks never moved an itch. They are very securely adhered to my refrigarator.. It does take a bit to get used too. But being consistant with locking it becomes part of everyday routine. I now know when im not home or im sleeping...my 3 grown..unworking adult children will not be eating all the food up.. May sound mean..but im on SSD and my food has to last me 1 month or close to it. This awesome invention has now made that possible. Couldnt be happier.

Ive had these in the past 5 years ago and they worked great. They are very strong. I use these to keep my kids out of the fridge and freezer otherwise they sneak food out of the fridge and when I go to use it to make dinner its gone. I have a side by side and it works fine. When I had these in the past I had a top and bottom so I needed two. It was a rental house. So when we moved out I had to pry those suckers off. So if someone tries to take them off its going too be some work. Our fridge is smooth so they stuck well. I also cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol before I put them on. So make sure you clean the area. Use soap and water first wipe dry then do the rubbing alcohol. If you dont clean the area they may not stick well. I got the black because our fridge is black. Before I used white on our white fridge.

This is the most creative way to keep others out of my liquor cabinet. Specifically someone who isnt me when I am not around. Its a shame I had to install this in the first place but for all intended purposes the project is complete for what I have in my budget.

I brought this thinking the adhesive would come off within the first two weeks since I would be putting it on a small chest freezer which typically runs warn, hence my apprehension as I though the glue would come get heated and it would get unstuck. image my surprise 6 month in and this sucker is still going strong. You have to be careful when applying it originally as once enough force is applying it will take a bit of work to get off. I really like to fact that it came with the lock include and for the price I at least kind of fell as like Im getting my money worth. all in all would definitely recommend.

Bad headline but it was a good joke haha. To be honest I had a lot of room mates that would always touch my fridge so I had to get one but I noticed one minor set back. It is a deterrent because of the lock but anyone determined enough can still get into your fridge and that isnt because of the lock but because of the sticky adhesive on the side of the fridge. The lock works like a charm but it doesnt matter if with enough force someone can yank it by the roots which unfortunately happened to me and my sandwhich and pepsis are gone :( haha but it worked for most as a deterrent.

If you did not buy it, ask before you take since they might be intended for something else other than filling your already fat belly during the middle-of-the- night eating binges. Maybe you dont have an inconsiderate non-beer drinking boob living in your house that likes toddler food and craft beer, you might not need this.
