Two brass rods, straight as arrows and within tolerance the entire length. Came in a great slip case to keep them from getting nicked or roughed up in transit. This is nice because these are going to be used for decorative purposes to the cleaner they look to start, the easier the polish will be later.

I had a project in mind when I saw this and it think its going to work perfectly. Nice finish straight and uniform 1/2 in rod.

Very high-quality brass stock. Micrometer shows .499-.500 diameter, and consistent for the entire length. This material can be used for turning drifts and punches. Comes in a protective plastic tube, polished, with a fine finish. This would make good stock for turning bushings of less than 1/2. If you make things with metal, this is a very good piece of stock for your bench. Good price, also.

This brass is of high quality. Everything about it is great, starting with the price. Very fairly priced and what arrived is a nice, dimentionally accurate piece of brass rod. It is packaged in a plastic tooling sleeve protecting the brass from transportation damage. Arrived damage free and very quickly. I would repeat purchases from this manufacturer in the future. 5 star review is the least I could give. Super product.

My husband requested that I order this brass rod for him. He was very impressed with the packaging and the apparently quality of it. He is gathering materials to build a knife and this is one more piece of the puzzle.

This brass bar arrived in good shape. It is clean and does not have any significant surface corrosion. When I measure it though I consistently am getting a diameter of 0.374 instead of 0.375 (3/8). This happens to be 9.5mm and I suspect that is the spec this bar was actually made to. If I needed bar that was exactly .375, I would be buying a larger diameter and machining it to size anyway, so I dont feel the .001 undersize is a significant deviation. But I do think its worth mentioning. Overall Im pretty happy with this brass bar and give it 4 stars for meeting my expectations (but not exceeding them). I also ordered a pair of these brass rods in 1/4 diameter - those measure out to .250 so they are correctly sized. Ive very happy with the quality of both sets of brass bars.

They are small but are exactly what I ordered. Looks and feels like brass to me but Im no expert. I got nothing bad to say about them
