> 3 dayBrass rod was exactly 12 long and 3/8 dia as advertised. Finish was good all over. Massed 182 grams. With some math I determined the rod is about 68% copper and 32% zinc, so this is yellow brass, a good general purpose type of brass.

> 3 dayI love brass. I love the way it polishes up and shines. These rods are for knife pins in a project Im working on to reprofile and rehandle my wifes kitchen knife set. The rods are about perfectly round and smooth. These are perfect for the job and worth the price.

> 3 dayI’ve tried to find something that would work well to attach with solder to a stained glass piece for a plant stake to use in a flower pot! These worked great! A great size without having to cut them, affordable and they took the solder well! I’ll definitely be buying them again!

Greater than one weekMy wife makes jewelry and she was ecstatic to receive this brass rod for a variety of projects. Here are here observations: - Quality brass - Nice rose gold color, not yellow like other suppliers - Accurate measurements - nicely machined - Great reusable container! Useful for storing material This brass is a good value for the price.

> 3 dayTheyre brass rods that I needed for a project. Theyre finished well, and the ones I received are dimensionally accurate. Cant ask for much more. Come in multiple diameters and will probably order more for other projects I have planned.

> 3 dayTop quality shipped in protective plastic double ended ended containers, like cutting tools come in, to protect finish. No material cert. or grade stated, but acceptable for hobby use. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI am a wood worker and have experimented with making Yo-Yos. The problem I have had is with the axle. Every type of wood I have tried has not been really good. These brass rods are perfect for this. They wont wear quickly and are smooth enough for the string not to wear and snag or wear through. A small squeeze in the vice to put a burr on each end them press each end into one half of the Yo-Yos and Im in business. Great find.

> 3 dayVery high-quality brass stock. Micrometer shows .499-.500 diameter, and consistent for the entire length. This material can be used for turning drifts and punches. Comes in a protective plastic tube, polished, with a fine finish. This would make good stock for turning bushings of less than 1/2. If you make things with metal, this is a very good piece of stock for your bench. Good price, also.
