After charging the unit for over 8 hours, l was very very disappointed when the battery lasted for less than 15 minutes. Also there was no information in the manual about battery care and battery life.

Really like that the batter is long-lasting, it’s lightweight and easy to use. Because it doesn’t hold much dirt, (and I have a hairy dog), I have to clean it every use, which I dread. It’s difficult to clean and requires a straw or knife to get the dirt out of the top. Otherwise, I love it.

Whoever created this vacuum thought of everything. It’s super light, fits in most crevices and the best part is even if it doesn’t fit, you can take out the attachment and use it as a handheld vacuum. I live in a one bedroom condo with floor and carpet and don’t have dogs, but I shed like one. I’ve had an issue with most vacuums because the hair will get trapped and I can’t get it out. Nothing to worry about with this one. You can unhook the spiral thing and cut off any hairs that get trapped. It’s super easy to remove the junk inside too. No filters or none of that mess. Also, there’s two suction powers. It sucks! But not in a bad way. The ONLY downside I’ve been able to see is the battery. If you’re using it occasionally in one room or a few, it’ll be fine. But if you decide to go on a vacuum spree and vacuum every corner of the house, you won’t make it. I’m selling this product like I own it or I’m the CEO. I’m not, but if you are and you read this, reach out to me to be the spokesperson for it. I’ll sell this thing door to door. It’s that great.

The rotating brush was not working. It was past the Amazon return time so I contacted the manufacturer 5 times and got no response. Not a bad unit but I didnt buy it to have defective product.

I was looking for something that might help clean up dirt and grass that comes in on the dogs paws every day without having to get out my heavy vacuum cleaner which is very hard for me to do due to chronic shoulder and back pain. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works and it is very lightweight and much easier for me to manage. It takes up very little space so I can have it out handy ready to use whenever I need it. I love it!

I bought this to clean up bird seed from the finches. It works great for that and dog hair too. Not for carpet though, wasnt bought for that anyway. My floors are cement, vinyl, and brick. Gathers the dust and hair without blowing it all off the place. Two settings so dont be fooled by think the lowest is the only one. I like the light because I can see the dog hair on the dark floor as it is cleaned up. Power is sufficient to do what I need to do at one time. I use the handheld to clean the seed out of the bottom of the bird cage. I tape the liners to the bottom so they dont get caught in the suction and vacuum the hulls daily to reduce the spread. I like the stand-up charger, no holes in the wall. It isnt as powerful as a regular vacuum but thats okay, I use it several times a day to pick up dog hair. I think I will enjoy this more than the roomba, I can get under the tables, edges of the couch, windowsills, and spiderwebs. Great tool!!!! UPDATE ON REVIEW: I was excited with the product at first however, problems have developed. One side piece that holds the roller keeps falling out. We are taping it to keep the roller in place. I dont care for the way it has to be pulled apart to be emptied, the pieces need to be aligned (the red piece in the handheld and the handheld piece that contains the trash). If the pieces are not aligned exactly right and the red piece is maladjusted it can be frustrating to get the trash holder secure then it can be difficult to get off. If these are not aligned you will get less suction. When it is time to buy another rechargeable Ill look at these parts of the design before purchase. I may not buy online but go somewhere that I can see how things fit together. Disappointing because I liked the vacuum.

** UPDATE ** 7-5-21 Originally I had ranked this vacuum as 5 stars. Now it is down to 3. If you dont mind paying $99 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 years, then maybe this vacuum is for you. Personally I find that unacceptable; Ive had vacuums that lasted 20 years. Both the light and the brush roller on the Roomie Tec are nonfunctioning. Ive had the vacuum for 16 months and given it meticulous care, cleaning it out after every use, putting it carefully back together. I treated this vacuum with TLC because I loved it so much. But now it is virtually useless. The manufacturer said since its past the two-year warranty period my only option is to pay (yes, I would have to pay) to ship it 2000 miles away so they can take a look at it. No, thanks. I will give the customer service department credit for being responsive to my phone call and trying hard over email to diagnose the problem. But in the end Im left with a $99 contribution to the landfill, which is hugely disappointing. ** UPDATE ** 7-1-21 After a little 16 months of use, the brush roller is completely nonfunctioning and the light on the vacuum is starting to go bad. Sometimes the light doesnt go on at all. Other times it flickers on and off while I use the vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago but have not heard back from them yet. I have removed a star from my review. If the manufacturer rectifies the problem to my satisfaction, I will return the star. Contacting them again today. This vacuum is da bomb! Seriously. Goodbye bagged vacuum; you’ve been replaced. The Roomie is lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, and most importantly - it cleans! This is my first cordless and my first bagless. Oh, how I love the ease of vacuuming without a cord. And bagless means all the gunk that gets sucked up goes immediately into the garbage where it belongs instead of being stored in a nasty, dirty bag for months on end. Assuming the Roomie stands the test of time, he’s a keeper! I’ll try to remember to update in a few months.

Overall good. These are the things I didn’t like- it is easy to accidentally knock it over when it is standing up on its own. It has to be perfectly balanced and then a small bump and it will still fall over. Similar situation for putting it in the charging station. The head must be aligned with the handle perfectly and tilted just right for it to fit into the charger. I like the led lighting but it goes out sometimes when used on carpet. It comes back on when it is turned off and then back on. When you take it apart to empty the trash tank be sure to do it on a table or other work surface. There are several pieces and steps and the parts are smooth and dusty so you’re likely to drop something if you try to juggle everything in your hands while emptying it.

This did really great for 6 months then the wheels started to wobble badly. They are plastic and not strong without a real axle. I removed them and glued some small oak strips to the bottom and went wheelless. We have vinyl plank flooring throughout the house and dont use it for area rugs and it works well. After a 1.5 years the lights went out but I have yet to run the battery dry and use it 2 or three times a day to clean up entry way and kitchen floor. I will use it till it dies, its a fine little machine thats just not very sturdy.

I bought this because my Eufys battery was starting to slowly die, and they have discontinued it. I like it, it does an OK job on the carpets, and better on the wood floors, but the thing that is a problem for me, is that because of the way the suction area is designed, in a curve, the cyclone filter, if you are vacuuming up something like leaves, they get caught and you have to clean them out right away, or it stops picking up anything else. I have a number of plants that have to come in during the winter, and they drop A LOT of leaves in the process of acclimating to being indoors, so this is a pain. I also have two small very hairy long haired dogs, and the same thing will happen with their fur. I think if they redesigned it to have a straight suction area, it would help a lot. The other thing that could be improved is the brush on the main head. My Eufy picks up so much more hair, human and dog, I have to clean the roller after every use. The Roomie does not seem to do as good a job. I do like the fact that the battery can be replaced, and I can vacuum for a good 30 minutes or more. It is very easy to take apart and clean. I think a redesign on the suction area could, quite possibly, make it as good as the Eufy.
