Reason I purchased this vacuum cleaner: For daily/in between main cleaning maintenance of pet (multi cat household) and main entrance area and to retire the broom. I have been using this cordless Vacuum cleaner for 5 weeks now on a daily basis and really put it through the test (Toddler, husband dragging in construction type dirt, and multi cat household). The type of floors I am using it on are: Tile, low fiber rug, fake astro turf (small cat area), wood, and laminate flooring. The area (battery life and travel): In-law suite/downstairs finished basement with separate entry door (living area, kitchen type area with animal feeding station, bathroom with 3 litter boxes, and stairs & landing Type of dirt: Litter, cat hair, outside dirt like stones, sand, concrete debris (my husbands work brought home), dry cat food kibbles, cardboard scratch debris, cat claw debris Usage: Daily for about 30 mins (and if my almost 2 year old wants it up to an hour) Here are my findings based on the type of dirt and usage listed above: PROS: 1) It is lightweight and easy to handle 2) The head swivels, making it easy with turns and corners 3) The LED lights make it easy to identify dirt, especially in low lid areas 4) Easy assembly 5) Quick to charge, simple and easy charger connection. 6) Good Battery life. Battery holds charge for at least an hour and it dings (indicator) when the battery starts wearing down. It also cuts off automatically once the battery is too low. 7) Push of a button easy removal of handheld unit 8) Easy to clean out 9) 2 Power settings (you push the on button twice - 1 time for the low suction setting and a 2nd time to increase suction power. Please note the increase in power is minimal) 10) It was able to handle multiple floor types (tile, laminate flooring, low fiber rugs, and a green fake grass high fiber rug in my cat area) when it was working great for the 1st 4 weeks (see cons below). CONS: (reason for the 2 Star rating): 1) After 4 weeks, the little rubber flap inside the handheld unit (designed to keep the dirt in the collection chamber) wore out and releases heavier dirt like litter stones) back onto the floor. It just doesnt close at tight as on the beginning. 2) The red filter can be unscrewed into 2 parts to make cleaning out debris caught between the unit easier. But be aware to make sure to screw it back correctly, because it is a bit tedious to line up the filter at the opening in the collection unit. It took me a while to determine the best method. If it doesnt line up exactly, the handheld canister will not close. 3) the silver paint started to wear off on the hand held unit (given only cosmetic and minor) 4) The 2nd power setting (higher suction level) is no longer effective to collect the litter and animal food droppings. 5) The litter or any other heavier debris I vacuum up, gets caught in the brush and if the unit is turned off, it all falls back out onto the floor or if on it kicks/flings back out onto the floor. This, in connection with the white rubber flap inside the collection unit and the ineffective higher suction power setting, makes it frustrating to use the unit, as it undoes all the vacuum and the reason for my star deduction. 6) To work around problem #5, I tried using the handheld unit to collect the debris pile back up and since it doesnt have enough suction under power level 2, it is ineffective and I have to revert back to using the sweeper. Please keep in mind: The collection chamber is small - so if you have more dirt as usual either multiple clean out is necessary or the main vacuum will have to be used. This unit is designed for light clean up only or daily maintenance in small areas. I wish I could provide a video but the area is too large and the video would have been too long (and my camera man aka husband wasnt available). It was a good little vacuum cleaner for 4 weeks and I was happy. Now it is a just a busy tool for my almost 2 year old boy, since the suction does not serve its purpose to assist with the daily cleaning in my needed areas. I am disappointed, since I was really hoping I had found the perfect tool to retire that broom and cut my cleaning time down. Summary: The vacuum cleaner is good if one does not deal with heavy dirt distribution such as litter, food kibbles (not being collected off the floor at all due to lower suction power), or pebbles from the outside. It still takes up cat hair, sand, and lint as it isnt heavy enough to get either released back out to the floor through the flap or not sucked up at all. Recommendation: Yes, if you dont have pets and heavy traveled areas. Otherwise, stick with a broom or heavy duty vacuum unit.

I like it for fast and easy cleanup of hardwood floors and light vacuuming of carpet. Its great on throw rugs too as the suction doesnt pull the rug up. The hand vac has a brush too which does a better job for those little cleanups.

This thing rocks! I was looking into a refurb or used Dyson V6, but I wanted something even smaller and lighter. We currently use a corded Shark which we love, but its just massive and heavy - its good for deep clean. We wanted something that we could use in place of a broom after our 1 and 3 y/o kiddos finished meals and snacks (crumbs everywhere!!!) That said, this is perfect. Its so freakin light, and the suction on it is totally fine for hardwood and basic carpet (dont expect a deep clean with carpets, but itll definitely pick up crumbs). Id say the biggest size object it can pickup is Goldfish snacks or cheerios - anything larger it doesnt like. I also really love that its got the detachable dust buster feature - I actually use it a lot more than I thought I would - its great for stovetop crumbs, child-seats, cars, corners, nooks, etc. Filter is reusable and washable - so no need to rely on future filter purchases, which was another important part of this for me. It doesnt have hepa filtering or anything, but again, I only wanted this for basic cumbs and cleanup. Theres some kind of tube/vortex filter design (different than other simple vacuum filter chambers Ive seen), and I think it does seem to really improve suction. Finally, the charging station is great - its nice just to place it on the charging station without needing to plug in or bend over every-time. I cant speak for longevity - Ive only had it a few days now. The company seems really responsive to extended warranty request (you can extend it from 1 year to 2 year warranty by contacting them via social media), and they have their own 90 day return period (outside of Amazons 30 day). My only concern is the built-in battery - I hope the battery lasts more than 2 years - all batteries have a lifespan, so I dont expect it to last for too long - its just too bad its not a user-replaceable battery. Im confident I can open up the body and find a standard size 2200mah 18V battery for replacement if this does happen.

I purchased this Roomie Tec Vaccum Dec. 5th after 3-4 months from having my other cordless. I tell my husband this vacuum is to good to be true. I absolutely love it! Now, I am vertically challenged and just know I am a big klutz. I used to say two vacuums ago that it wanted me dead. I would trip over the cord every day. So yes, I have to vacuum daily and most days multiple times. I have a energetic 2 yrs old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. Who sheds PROFUSELY! My fingers crossed that this cordless lasts longer. *Side note* I have a issue with static (No fault of the vacuum). When I go from carpet to hardwood a lot of dog hair clings to the hardwood around the edge of the carpet. No matter how many times I go over it, the vacuum will not pick it up. For some reason it only happens in the winter. Ive tried scotch guard and NO. Im thinking about stuffing a laundry sheet in it. All in all this vacuum is great! The battery has never died out before I was finished and its easy to clean. Replacement filters are easy to find and affordable. No, I am not getting anything for writing a great review. I just love this convenient vacuum. It makes my life easier.

After charging the unit for over 8 hours, l was very very disappointed when the battery lasted for less than 15 minutes. Also there was no information in the manual about battery care and battery life.

    Greater than one week

I Think for light use but not daily this would be fine. I like the LED lights for seeing dust. The battery life seems very adequate for my usage. I think that the emptying and cleaning of debris and filter are easy enough but I have issues with some things such as. The power button after a couple of weeks has become a little less responsive. I feel that it may not be able to last with regular daily usage. Even though it picks up okay some things on tile and area rugs take several swipes to pickup. Just seems to lack the suction power that I would prefer. The roller brush requires a screwdriver to remove and is hard to line back up when putting back in. I plan to return in a few days just because I believe as my everyday sweeper this would not hold up. If it was only for occasional use I think it would be fine plus it is a good price for that. Give it a try it may be for you.

Love this cordless vacuum . Work great for hardwood , tile floors and low carpet areas. It pick up pretty good and the charge last. I was able to do living area, kitchen , both hallways and both bedroom and probably the master if it needed. I still had plenty of charge left. This is an easy quick way to keep your floors clean without hassle of a cord and a heavy vacuum. I also love that it stand by itself if you have to stop in the middle. Another plus I like is the two speed for more power and the attachment 2 in 1 . All that and it has led light which help you see spots you may have missed and fine pet hair. On top of all that its quiet compare to others. Definitely recommend this for quick & easy clean up . We have a small pet and it get the job done. Oh also love the swivel base!

I loved this vacuum when I first got it in the mail and then realized it wasn’t picking up any dirt, I then received a replacement and that worked fine for a few uses and then again even after cleaning, it stopped working again. I asked for help via the service line and still nothing so I am now looking for another vacuum after paying $100 for this one.

Really like that the batter is long-lasting, it’s lightweight and easy to use. Because it doesn’t hold much dirt, (and I have a hairy dog), I have to clean it every use, which I dread. It’s difficult to clean and requires a straw or knife to get the dirt out of the top. Otherwise, I love it.
