Greater than one weekI had an Anchor (Euphy) for many years and loved it. When the battery died it could not be replaced. The new vacuum is good but the canister is smaller and the charging base does not attach to the wall as I prefer. It is quieter than the old one. The battery on this one is replaceable which is good. I hope it all lasts as long as the previous one.

08-06-2025Ive had this vacuum for over a year and have been very happy with it for quick clean up. The battery life allows me to vacuum almost my 2400 square foot house. I do have to empty the canister several times as I have a dog and two cats that shed alot. I have all hardwood floors but a few floor rugs that you can switch to high volume, and it does well. The battery has to work harder when using the high volume, so it doesnt last as long but still does a good job. Charges fast. The customer service was great. The roller and suction part quit working (only on the stick part, the handheld worked fine) so I contacted support to see if that part could be replaced. The answered my call first time, took all my information and was told the problem would be sent to their service department. The next week, they returned my call and said they would be sending out a new unit. This was even a few months after their one-year warranty had expired. I received a whole new unit a week later. I am extremely impressed with their service and happy with the vacuum.

Greater than one week** UPDATE ** 7-5-21 Originally I had ranked this vacuum as 5 stars. Now it is down to 3. If you dont mind paying $99 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 years, then maybe this vacuum is for you. Personally I find that unacceptable; Ive had vacuums that lasted 20 years. Both the light and the brush roller on the Roomie Tec are nonfunctioning. Ive had the vacuum for 16 months and given it meticulous care, cleaning it out after every use, putting it carefully back together. I treated this vacuum with TLC because I loved it so much. But now it is virtually useless. The manufacturer said since its past the two-year warranty period my only option is to pay (yes, I would have to pay) to ship it 2000 miles away so they can take a look at it. No, thanks. I will give the customer service department credit for being responsive to my phone call and trying hard over email to diagnose the problem. But in the end Im left with a $99 contribution to the landfill, which is hugely disappointing. ** UPDATE ** 7-1-21 After a little 16 months of use, the brush roller is completely nonfunctioning and the light on the vacuum is starting to go bad. Sometimes the light doesnt go on at all. Other times it flickers on and off while I use the vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago but have not heard back from them yet. I have removed a star from my review. If the manufacturer rectifies the problem to my satisfaction, I will return the star. Contacting them again today. This vacuum is da bomb! Seriously. Goodbye bagged vacuum; you’ve been replaced. The Roomie is lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, and most importantly - it cleans! This is my first cordless and my first bagless. Oh, how I love the ease of vacuuming without a cord. And bagless means all the gunk that gets sucked up goes immediately into the garbage where it belongs instead of being stored in a nasty, dirty bag for months on end. Assuming the Roomie stands the test of time, he’s a keeper! I’ll try to remember to update in a few months.

> 3 dayThe rotating brush was not working. It was past the Amazon return time so I contacted the manufacturer 5 times and got no response. Not a bad unit but I didnt buy it to have defective product.

> 3 dayEverytime I use this, it spits our what it picks up. Then if I try to use the small detachable, it spits out everything that was in it. What a mess!

> 3 dayWhoever created this vacuum thought of everything. It’s super light, fits in most crevices and the best part is even if it doesn’t fit, you can take out the attachment and use it as a handheld vacuum. I live in a one bedroom condo with floor and carpet and don’t have dogs, but I shed like one. I’ve had an issue with most vacuums because the hair will get trapped and I can’t get it out. Nothing to worry about with this one. You can unhook the spiral thing and cut off any hairs that get trapped. It’s super easy to remove the junk inside too. No filters or none of that mess. Also, there’s two suction powers. It sucks! But not in a bad way. The ONLY downside I’ve been able to see is the battery. If you’re using it occasionally in one room or a few, it’ll be fine. But if you decide to go on a vacuum spree and vacuum every corner of the house, you won’t make it. I’m selling this product like I own it or I’m the CEO. I’m not, but if you are and you read this, reach out to me to be the spokesperson for it. I’ll sell this thing door to door. It’s that great.

> 3 dayOverall good. These are the things I didn’t like- it is easy to accidentally knock it over when it is standing up on its own. It has to be perfectly balanced and then a small bump and it will still fall over. Similar situation for putting it in the charging station. The head must be aligned with the handle perfectly and tilted just right for it to fit into the charger. I like the led lighting but it goes out sometimes when used on carpet. It comes back on when it is turned off and then back on. When you take it apart to empty the trash tank be sure to do it on a table or other work surface. There are several pieces and steps and the parts are smooth and dusty so you’re likely to drop something if you try to juggle everything in your hands while emptying it.

> 3 dayI have a very large open concept living/kitchen/entry & hall that is all hardwood – I also have a Shepard so I have to vacuum hair every day. I had been using the Shark Vacmop which I really like as it picks up great but the replacement pads were getting pricey. With as much vacuum as I was doing, I have to change the pads out daily. When I purchased the Roomie Tech cordless vacuum, I did so to still have the convenience of a cordless while hoping it would do the daily job as easily as the Shark Vacmop. Initially I was very disappointed; When I first received this I had to leave for a long trip so wasnt able to unbox it until I returned home - by this point it was past the Amazon return policy. Out of the box this was obliviously a return and looked like it had been well used. I charged it hoping it would work but it would not even pick up dog hair. I posted a review for the seller and they responded right away and sent me a new one, kudos for the Roomie Tech co for responding & taking care of this issue for me. I received the new one today (new out of the box this time) and I have to say I was impressed. Because it had been awhile since I purchased this item and I had never used this product before I didnt know the first one I received wasnt functioning properly (no lights & no power to the floor brush) and I didnt know it was missing an attachment. After using the new one I realized this actually works very well for my needs and was exactly what I was looking for. Only time will tell how long it lasts but so far so go & with the Shark Vacmop being only slightly cheaper but having to pay so much for the replacement pads in the long run this will definitely save me money.
