> 3 dayOnly had it since October and the brush quit on me. I only use it on my hardwood floors and I opened it up and nothing is broken or blocking it. Just stopped turning. Really frustrating

Greater than one weekI have been thinking about writing this review since I first used the vacuum, but thought I ought to give it some time to be sure. We are surrounded by many pine trees, and the floor is always covered with them. I have vacuumed almost every day to keep ahead of the needles and the dirt in the wake of two toddler grandchildren. I truly love everything about this product. It picks up my long hair and winds it into a neat bun (really). We have hardwoods and carpet, and it works great on both. Along with a rotating brush, there is a squeegee that picks up dust on the hard surfaces. Plus, it has a light that shows dirt on the floor. Its much easier on my back, because its lightweight and effective. One tip: I ended up buying an extra filter package (2 filters) so I can wash the sponge filter whenever I want. Were doing some construction, so I need to pick up some really fine dust. I like to rinse it all out. Did I say I love it? Its really well made, works great, and is light. Perfect.

Greater than one weekSo I am always looking for power. I have a long hair cat. He deposits hair frequently on carpet. I am still just processing the new vacuum. But I’m very pleased right now. I like the stand and all the lights. It’s so lightweight and with no cord I can just zip around. I scored a deal on this too. So I am pretty happy with it. You might like it too.

> 3 dayI purchased this Roomie Tec Vaccum Dec. 5th after 3-4 months from having my other cordless. I tell my husband this vacuum is to good to be true. I absolutely love it! Now, I am vertically challenged and just know I am a big klutz. I used to say two vacuums ago that it wanted me dead. I would trip over the cord every day. So yes, I have to vacuum daily and most days multiple times. I have a energetic 2 yrs old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. Who sheds PROFUSELY! My fingers crossed that this cordless lasts longer. *Side note* I have a issue with static (No fault of the vacuum). When I go from carpet to hardwood a lot of dog hair clings to the hardwood around the edge of the carpet. No matter how many times I go over it, the vacuum will not pick it up. For some reason it only happens in the winter. Ive tried scotch guard and NO. Im thinking about stuffing a laundry sheet in it. All in all this vacuum is great! The battery has never died out before I was finished and its easy to clean. Replacement filters are easy to find and affordable. No, I am not getting anything for writing a great review. I just love this convenient vacuum. It makes my life easier.

> 3 dayWe got this for our cabin. Its busy at times ad this works great on our hard woods and carpet. This is perfect for a small place. We use a solar generator and it keeps this charged with our using much of that power at all. Its great also because the body of the upright vacuum pops off easily to be used as a hand held. This isnt going to work well for heavy duty household work but good for a cabin, RV, studio, one bedriom place. No bags needed. You simply empty the cup into the trash. Take top off over a trash can for avoid spilling. We love it!

Greater than one week** UPDATE ** 7-5-21 Originally I had ranked this vacuum as 5 stars. Now it is down to 3. If you dont mind paying $99 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 years, then maybe this vacuum is for you. Personally I find that unacceptable; Ive had vacuums that lasted 20 years. Both the light and the brush roller on the Roomie Tec are nonfunctioning. Ive had the vacuum for 16 months and given it meticulous care, cleaning it out after every use, putting it carefully back together. I treated this vacuum with TLC because I loved it so much. But now it is virtually useless. The manufacturer said since its past the two-year warranty period my only option is to pay (yes, I would have to pay) to ship it 2000 miles away so they can take a look at it. No, thanks. I will give the customer service department credit for being responsive to my phone call and trying hard over email to diagnose the problem. But in the end Im left with a $99 contribution to the landfill, which is hugely disappointing. ** UPDATE ** 7-1-21 After a little 16 months of use, the brush roller is completely nonfunctioning and the light on the vacuum is starting to go bad. Sometimes the light doesnt go on at all. Other times it flickers on and off while I use the vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago but have not heard back from them yet. I have removed a star from my review. If the manufacturer rectifies the problem to my satisfaction, I will return the star. Contacting them again today. This vacuum is da bomb! Seriously. Goodbye bagged vacuum; you’ve been replaced. The Roomie is lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, and most importantly - it cleans! This is my first cordless and my first bagless. Oh, how I love the ease of vacuuming without a cord. And bagless means all the gunk that gets sucked up goes immediately into the garbage where it belongs instead of being stored in a nasty, dirty bag for months on end. Assuming the Roomie stands the test of time, he’s a keeper! I’ll try to remember to update in a few months.

> 3 daySuction power is not good and the sweeper part does not stay on the floor. Also do not like the inner parts where you clean it. The filter looks like it’s gonna have to be replaced which is very disappointing. I don’t want to have to buy accessories or replacement pieces.

> 3 dayI Think for light use but not daily this would be fine. I like the LED lights for seeing dust. The battery life seems very adequate for my usage. I think that the emptying and cleaning of debris and filter are easy enough but I have issues with some things such as. The power button after a couple of weeks has become a little less responsive. I feel that it may not be able to last with regular daily usage. Even though it picks up okay some things on tile and area rugs take several swipes to pickup. Just seems to lack the suction power that I would prefer. The roller brush requires a screwdriver to remove and is hard to line back up when putting back in. I plan to return in a few days just because I believe as my everyday sweeper this would not hold up. If it was only for occasional use I think it would be fine plus it is a good price for that. Give it a try it may be for you.

> 3 dayWe visited a friend for a few days and she showed us the vacuum that she was using. Her daughter had recommended it to her. It was very lightweight, easy to move around, and no cord to trip over. We then went home and bought one for ourselves. It is amazing!! I cant believe we used our old clunky vacuum for so long! The new vacuum is very lightweight, and all the pieces snap together in a very easy and logical way. The suction compartment can even be popped off and used as a hand piece all by itself!! This product is a dream! I love cleaning my floors now, its not a hassle and is actually fun to get it done so fast. It has a very simple charging station, easy to plug in and take out. I plan on recommending this to everyone, especially a great gift for newlyweds. I find the price very fair. (I saw some other vacuums included steam or wet clean function, but I think trying to cram so many functions into one piece will just make it riskier to breakdown or have a malfunction.) I still like to use my Swiffer to do a wet clean once a week, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, and then after it dries, use the Roomie Vacuum. Just like my friend, I can now vacuum everyday if I want, as there is no longer the hassle to pull out the old vacuum with a huge canister, and no cord to trip over.
