> 3 dayThis vacuum is lightweight enough for an elderly person, with the motor weight and dustbin at the bottom of the wand, rather than at the top. Its compactness and charging station are plusses. Suction is good. There is not a useful tool for stair treads and upholstery, only a narrow edge tool for corners and edges. I inquired if there is an upholstery brush availabie and have not received an answer, which does not bode well for future customer service needs. It is easy to remove the handheld power source/dust bin parts, but reassembly is difficult, as they fit tightly and do not realign easily. I have had it about a month. I would buy it again for the price, but I would also search for an alternative.

> 3 dayWhoever created this vacuum thought of everything. It’s super light, fits in most crevices and the best part is even if it doesn’t fit, you can take out the attachment and use it as a handheld vacuum. I live in a one bedroom condo with floor and carpet and don’t have dogs, but I shed like one. I’ve had an issue with most vacuums because the hair will get trapped and I can’t get it out. Nothing to worry about with this one. You can unhook the spiral thing and cut off any hairs that get trapped. It’s super easy to remove the junk inside too. No filters or none of that mess. Also, there’s two suction powers. It sucks! But not in a bad way. The ONLY downside I’ve been able to see is the battery. If you’re using it occasionally in one room or a few, it’ll be fine. But if you decide to go on a vacuum spree and vacuum every corner of the house, you won’t make it. I’m selling this product like I own it or I’m the CEO. I’m not, but if you are and you read this, reach out to me to be the spokesperson for it. I’ll sell this thing door to door. It’s that great.

> 3 dayVacuum is great for the price. The ability to stand and charge along with removing the handheld portion is nice to have. Cons - the bristle motor and the LEDs intermittently turn off when pulling on the vacuum while using. Pushing has no effect and the LEDs and motor works. This problem can be replicated by tilting the head of the vacuum that has the bristles from the stem of the device indicating the contact parts that power the motor for the bristles is losing connecting when pulling the vacuum back to me. -The bottom of the vacuum has a smaller bristle strip (not sure exactly what it is for - maybe to stop items from flying underneath) that I had to remove bc if you vacuum in a diagonal pattern then when you are pulling it will catch debris and the vacuum cant suck it up. Removing the bristles fixed this issue. Overall, for the price and battery life this is a great tool to have for hardwood floors. Easy to clean and empty. The two cons are the only things that stick out and Ive used this thing pretty much every other day for 6 months.

> 3 dayI purchased this Roomie Tec Vaccum Dec. 5th after 3-4 months from having my other cordless. I tell my husband this vacuum is to good to be true. I absolutely love it! Now, I am vertically challenged and just know I am a big klutz. I used to say two vacuums ago that it wanted me dead. I would trip over the cord every day. So yes, I have to vacuum daily and most days multiple times. I have a energetic 2 yrs old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. Who sheds PROFUSELY! My fingers crossed that this cordless lasts longer. *Side note* I have a issue with static (No fault of the vacuum). When I go from carpet to hardwood a lot of dog hair clings to the hardwood around the edge of the carpet. No matter how many times I go over it, the vacuum will not pick it up. For some reason it only happens in the winter. Ive tried scotch guard and NO. Im thinking about stuffing a laundry sheet in it. All in all this vacuum is great! The battery has never died out before I was finished and its easy to clean. Replacement filters are easy to find and affordable. No, I am not getting anything for writing a great review. I just love this convenient vacuum. It makes my life easier.

> 3 dayWe visited a friend for a few days and she showed us the vacuum that she was using. Her daughter had recommended it to her. It was very lightweight, easy to move around, and no cord to trip over. We then went home and bought one for ourselves. It is amazing!! I cant believe we used our old clunky vacuum for so long! The new vacuum is very lightweight, and all the pieces snap together in a very easy and logical way. The suction compartment can even be popped off and used as a hand piece all by itself!! This product is a dream! I love cleaning my floors now, its not a hassle and is actually fun to get it done so fast. It has a very simple charging station, easy to plug in and take out. I plan on recommending this to everyone, especially a great gift for newlyweds. I find the price very fair. (I saw some other vacuums included steam or wet clean function, but I think trying to cram so many functions into one piece will just make it riskier to breakdown or have a malfunction.) I still like to use my Swiffer to do a wet clean once a week, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, and then after it dries, use the Roomie Vacuum. Just like my friend, I can now vacuum everyday if I want, as there is no longer the hassle to pull out the old vacuum with a huge canister, and no cord to trip over.

> 3 dayYou might get a year out of it before the light stops working, and the roller stops turning then it’s rendered totally useless. Evidently the power connection in there somewhere fails.

> 3 dayIt took trying out 5 different brands of new rechargeable upright/handvac vacuum cleaners after my old one gave up the ghost, but Ive finally found one that does what I need it to do! Its not totally perfect, there are some design features Id change if it was up to me, but it does what I most need. PROS: 1. It vacuums floors and carpeting especially low pile carpeting efficiently including extracting pet fur. We have 2 old Siamese cats and an old long haired Australian Shepherd mix. They all shed more in their old age. This vacuum does a good job of surface to medium depth cleaning into the carpet fibers and collects the fur well. 2. The roller brush is removable for easy removal of longer pet fur that tends to wrap around the roller AND the roller brush DOES NOT allow a ball of fur to get easily lodged between the end of the roller and the drive gear and stop the roller from turning. For, the sake of good general maintenance, I am still removing the roller every 3 or 4 uses and cleaning off the roller and the rollers ends and drive gear. (*Note: I tried a model by Bissell which had ALL of the features I wanted, BUT the roller brush jammed up 3 times in a total of 6 minutes of operation. Id remove the brush and clear out a small ball of fur that got wedged in the drive gear, only to have it jam up again within a couple of minutes, so that one went back!) 3. Both High and Low Speed Suction work well and stay consistent till the battery gets almost depleted. I havent run it down to needing a full charge, but I have vacuumed 20 to 25 minutes non-stop without a significant suction drop. 4. The light is nice and bright. 5. It balances well in the hand and is not overly heavy and is easy to adjust for vacuuming under beds and dressers, etc. It can also stand upright by itself without the holding stand. In addition, the handle can be folded down. *This shortens the storage height of the unit, but does increase its width front to back. 5. The debris cup is easy to empty and wipe clean or wash and holds about a cup and half of debris before needing to be emptied. 6. The inner filter is the re-usable washable foam sponge type. 7. The combo wand/brush fits the handvac snugly and works well. CONS: 1. The handvac unit releases well from the handle unit, but there isnt a good grip point on the handvac itself to help with pulling it away from the handle, so extracting it is awkward. 2. The ONLY option for charging the unit is that you HAVE to use the floor stand, you cant plug the charging cable into the hand/vac part - as is the case with most portable vacuums of this style. This greatly increases the size of the units foot print. I could tuck my old rechargeable vacuum behind my kitchen door, but thats not possible with this one because of floor stand is so big. 3. There is no attachment point on the vacuum that can hold the combo wand/brush so that you have it readily accessible during your vacuuming activities. The floor stand has a built in holder for the wand/brush unit, but that means you have to remember to remove the wand/brush unit and carry it about with you manually while vacuuming or you will have to walk back to your charging floor stand to get the wand/brush, if you need to use it. 4. The floor brush section would be a lot more user friendly if had about another 1/8th inch of clearance from the floor. It does well at picking up smaller bits of debris, but to get up bigger bits like a cheerio, larger pieces of cat litter or a small piece of dried cat kibble about 3/8th inch in diameter, you have to pick the floor vacuums head up, position it in front of the larger debris, and then roll it backwards while holding the rear end of the brush section about a quarter inch above the floor. In effect you have to lower the brush head down on top of the debris. 5. The floor brush does reasonably well at sucking up debris on the side of the brush heads housing, but the suction there isnt as strong as it is on some other brands models. So there you have it! This one has all the major bells and whistles most folks will need, and it works well without any major drawbacks!
