Cover Case Compatible with New Nintendo 2DS XL, Crystal Clear Case Compatible with Nintendo 2DS XL

I only gave this four stars because I had to buy a second one after the first arrived damaged. It seems to be sturdy and secure, and I’m happy with it.

I bought this for my 6 year old son’s new 2ds xl. I wanted one of the nerf cases but since those aren’t available yet I opted for this. It doesn’t offer an insane amount of protection but it will at least keep it from getting all scratched up. I don’t think this would protect from a fall though. The installation was super simple and did not scratch the ds whatsoever.

It looks great and fit very well on my 2DS XL! The only issue is that after one day the case was scratched very easily on the side! I have no clue what could’ve caused this but overall a good case!

Bought this for my sons DS, and it works great. He loves that it is clear, so he can still see his Nintendo, and that he can still easily access all the buttons and power adapter.

Protected in plastic and fit perfect, just pop it onto my Pokemon 2DS XL. The plastic is clear and shows the design well. Kind of a bummer I didnt think it through that the cover would naturally block the poke ball button design.

This doesn’t get in any way of me playing my video games and I feel a little safer knowing I have some sort of protection on it. The best part is that it’s see through, so if you have a design you’d like to flaunt, you’d still be able to

I got the New 2DS XL because I liked the color and design of it more than the current New 3D varieties so I wanted a clear case that would not cover it up but would prevent scratches and other minor damage. This is your basic clear hard plastic case but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It fit perfectly and being thin and light doesnt add much bulk to the system so it still slides into the carrying bag I have with no difficulties. It does make it a bit tighter fit but it is still fine especially as the bag was design with New 3DS XL dimensions in mind. There are cut outs for all the ports so nothing about using the console is interfered with. It does attract fingerprints more than the matte finish of the 2DS XL itself but that was expected and not a problem. Definitely recommended for basic protection. Note that the shiny hard plastic will probably scratch over time. I personally dont care since its a case, better it than the console.
