It’s a pretty nice case, fits nicely. It’s snug but not TO tight like it might scratch my 2ds xl when I take it off. It’s not a really hard plastic either like it’s slightly bendy plastic. It also does scratch kinda easily.. but it’s not noticeable.. at least not to me or the scratches that I’ve gotten aren’t bad. I’m really happy. :} (I printed a cinnamonroll picture and I’m going to put stickers on it)

This case is great .... For a normal 2ds xl. I have the Hylian edition and while the bottom fits the top doesnt snap on all the way. I bought it because a few reviews said it did fit the Hylian one. Great case if you have a regular 2ds xl.

This clear is AMAZING!! If you need a case thats minimal, light, and still shows you the the beauty of your New 2DS XL this is your case. It fits perfect, almost as if you have no case on. I often let my kids play my 2DS XL and with this I dont have to wonder about bumps and scratches. I always love clear cases for my electronics that are visually appealing and this definitely was a purchase that was worth it!

I give this 4 stars because it doesn’t snap on as tight as I thought it would but it’s not coming off. Covers the most scratch prone areas and isn’t loose like the silicone ones.

Overall, I really enjoy the case. Its protective and does what its intended to. The only weak points Id say it has is that once on, its pretty difficult to get off, so if you like to switch skins a lot it might make it hard. The second weak point is very specific to where I use my DS, but it still bothers me: sometimes Im in dusty environments and lots of dirt gets trapped between the shell and the DS, which looks gross. Other than those two downsides, a great product!

Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves that the paint wears off the limited edition systems. I have one of the Zelda ones and the gold paint is coming off where I hold it. I had to buy this case to keep it from being completely worn away. For what they charge for these systems, its shameful that this product is necessary. That said, the case does its job. I hate having it there, but thats not the cases fault. Recommend for anyone who doesnt want their paint coming off. And Im not talking about the design. Im talking about the background color that I thought was the color of the plastic.

I originally wanted a clear hard case for my 2ds LL instead of a tpu case like I used for my 3ds XL as while those help cushion the system from falls, they also yellow and cloud over time and I wanted something more permanent. After receiving this in the mail, I have completely changed my mind. The top piece is perfectly fine and smooth. Looks great. The back of the bottom piece though, I dont understand how it could be moulded this poorly. Im sure that over time, if placed on the system, it would leave at least light scratching and I wouldnt want to imagine what even the smallest drop would do. Rendering this case completely useless. So either $12 for this case thatll hurt my system more than it protects it or $9 for the tpu one thatll just look a bit weird in 5 years. Ill definitely take the later.

Fits nice and keeps it protected

I like it. It makes the orange and white one look great. Plastic back edges were rough and I had to shave them with a knife so I didn’t scratch my system.
