Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White

I was concerned, of course, because of the many reviews talking about a toxic smell. No toxic smell on mine. It smells like every other HEPA replacement filter Ive bought in the last 20 years from many different brands. Tested once with my dylos particle counter. I am getting about 30 ppm ambient indoors (after running these filters for a couple of days) and 3 ppm of 2.5pm at the exhaust (0 to 1 ppm of pm 10). 30 ppm is already very low, the outdoors is generally well over 1,000 ppm on my dylos meter. With the Canadian wildfires the ppm outdoors has been routinely over 5,000 ppm of pm2.5 and I even saw over 12,000 one day. Ill update when I get a few more readings. Im very happy with Coway so far, its a high quality and quiet machine with good filter replacements.

I decided to pay extra for the OEM version rather than the generic, and I could instantly tell that the Coway brand had thicker pleats than the generic. Working fine.

I bought a set previously about a year ago and immediately returned it for the same reason a lot of people here complain about: the smell. I bought these again hoping that maybe the quality had improved and I was pleasantly surprised. The filters didnt have such a pungent smell to it this time. Its there if you smell for it but its very faint. I installed it in the fan and the air smelled fine. The print on the hepa filter itself still looked like an imitation of the original filter that came with the fan but at least it was usable and fit.

The only replacement filters that should be used with the Coway air system.

I have purchase at least 5 sets of these filters. They do an amazing job at removing the odors, pollen, and dust in my 1000 sqft house. Life of the filters is dependent on how much particulates are in your house and frequency of use. In general, its best to replace the filters at the specified cycle from the manufactures or sooner if you are a heavy user like myself.

Replaced both filters and cleaned my air purifier in less than 5 minutes. The replacement filters were a perfect fit.

This is exactly the same filter that came with the air purifier. I ordered from Amazon, not from a third party: the default selection was from a third party but because there was a bunch of complains about the smell, I paid the extra 50 cents to get it direct from Amazon just to be sure. The version I got came in a “Conway” box and had all the markings from the original that it was replacing. There was no smell and it fitted perfectly. Happy with the purchase as we needed to refresh those filters with all the smoke we get these days from the wildfires

Was happy to open the package and get the exact OEM filter when purchasing my Coway mighty along with 2 additional prefilters. I did read some reviews stating the filters had an awful smell to them, mine did not so that issue must have been resolved.

Second time purchasing Conway replacement vs a clone/knockoff. This kit is the real deal and about $20 less than buying from Conway company.
