> 3 dayIf I could give this 0 stars, I would. This is not the stock glass that comes with the printers. The surface is completely different, and I found adhesion impossible. I have 5 printers I have been using for 3 years now, so I’m not new to the hobby. I ordered 4 of these, and all of them gave me the exact same issues. Nothing would stick. If I did manage to get the first layer to go down, it was because I had the nozzle so close to the glass that it drug through the filament. I didn’t once have corners of prints stay down. Every single one warped.

> 3 dayThis Glass bed has dual surface. On coated grainy and other smooth and can print on both the surfaces. The smooth surface may not stick well when printed without heat. Does not come with clips to stick it to bed, binder clip were used to hold it to bed. I had some trouble removing the prints but going through group I learnt that I have to let the bed cool down and the prints with popup with a little nudge. I would say it is a good choice of upgrade to resolve the heated bed warping.

> 3 dayWorked great when I got it. After about a month, PLA does not adhere well at all anymore. Printing at higher heat and lower first layer helps, but there is always curling now, and smaller prints always fail. Better to find something that wont wear out quite as quickly

02-06-2025Thought Glass would be flatter than a magnet its still inconsistent and prints dont seem to hold to it as well pretty disappointing

> 3 dayI have tried to find some tips I may be missing on the use of this bed but nothing I have found has been all that helpful. On one side you have the textured surface that seems impossible to properly clean residue from and the other a smooth tempered glass side that while you can use a razor scraper on, will readily crater if you pull the print off in too sharp of an angle. I am using PLA and PLA+, so it may work better with ABS. I just know I am not seeing the reality of the hype for the tempered glass bed at the moment.

> 3 dayTook me an annoying amount of time to get my machine right to start printing. Probably my error considering it’s a glass sheet lol. I recommend using the non textured side, I didn’t have good luck otherwise. Beyond turning up the bed temp it worked great

> 3 dayIt is not sticky at all -- I tried level the bed for 10ish time and tried multiple bed temperature. It doesnt come with even super cheap metal clips, so you have to buy them yourself. When you put metal clips on, the glass bed is not flat anymore --- actually the glass bed itself is not flat anymore once you put it on.

> 3 dayIll give this a two star instead of a one star. When layers adhere, they adhere well, and pop off when cool. But the surface tolerance is awful. High and low points everywhere, so bad that even with a BL Touch I end up scraping the bed in some places and having the nozzle too high to adhere in others (manual bed leveling was just as bad). And thats on the smooth side. The rough side had a .5mm difference between the center and edges in addition to the hills and valleys. I had a better experience with my stock warped bed. This thing got scratched to hell and back within 48 hours because of the awful surface tolerance. Just spend the money on some good Boro glass and a PEI sheet, youll likely end up doing that anyways.

> 3 dayIve had difficulties with this plate, but it can easily be my fault. Ive tried increasing the temp and using alcohol to clean it, but Ive still had adhesion problems. But I would still recommend giving it a try, its easy to install and worth giving a try since most people have success. It does hold heat well since its glass, but you may need to heat it up longer than usual at the beginning. I will probably give it another try if my original plate fails again.

> 3 dayMuch higher quality than the bed that came with the Ender 3. Nice upgrade.
