> 3 dayVery fast. Had some inconsistent performance at first. Read reviews about thermal throttling so I purchased one of the heat sinks with heat pipes and a PWM fan on it. Extremely fast and no issues anymore. DO yourself a favor and make sure you have good cooling and this thing will fly. It is nice not having to worry about space anymore.

> 3 dayThis product is just overall really good for its price. You can always get more speed and memory if you pay more, but Id say this was priced well during a sale. This boots up faster than my SSD which is an upgrade, but so far there isnt really much to say on this other than its really good so far.

> 3 dayBought this drive as a fast access storage drive for video games that require a lot of disk use. At time of review I’ve had it in use for 6 months, great speed and reliability so far. This is my first crucial purchase and I’d definitely do it again.

> 3 dayI use this plainly just for more reliable storage and it does exactly what I expect it to do. There is nothing wrong with this product, remember to initiate the drive in Windows with Disk Manager to assign the SSD a drive letter and such.

Greater than one weekI installed this SSD in my Lenovo A40 all-in-one pc and it improved the speed tremendously. I also added 4 gb of memory for a total of 8gb. In now boots in less than 10 seconds!! In my ratings for Tech Support & Gaming, I gave it a 3, because I dont do gaming and I didnt need tech support, and there was no opportunity to choose Not Applicable, so those can be ignored.

> 3 dayI probably should have known this, but there are no supporting screws to secure this drive to the motherboard. I had to scrounge around my garage to find the smallest screw possible. Not a very professional job, but it works.

> 3 dayInstalled in a few years old gaming laptop. Although manufacturer limited hardware to 512GB, this was listed as compatible by Crucial with my laptop and it was. Very fast load times of everything, transfers on and off it also very fast. Future proof as Windows 10 and 11 getting close to 100GB install size (add to that updates). Will upgrade to Windows 11 when Windows 10 support ends in 2025. Ubuntu/Linux not quite there yet but close.

> 3 dayInstalled in minutes in a Dell XPS 15 7590 and greatly expanded storage, although this required rebuilding Windows and reinstalling software, but even thats not difficult these days.

05-06-2025Bought a new laptop and needed a larger NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. This fit the bill. Crucial is made my Micron, one of, if not the best memory manufacturer out there. So no issues with quality here. This device is lighting quick and has tons of storage. One issue I had wasnt with the SSD itself but the software Crucial recommends--Acronis True Image. Got it for free because, hey, Crucial SSD. Welp, it did not recognize I had a Crucial SSD when it was either in a NVMe USB-C enclosure or in the laptop itself. I had to use different software to clone everything. Now its all done and things are great!
