Greater than one weekGreat product. Installed easily into my Dell Inspiron 7786. Breathed new life into my laptop after the HDD failed. Now the laptop is running faster than ever, and gaming with Bethesda Skyrim is flawless at highest resolution. Exceptionally pleased with performance.

> 3 daySuper fast. Bit pricy but it’s NvME so whatever. I’d buy again for sure. Wish they came with M.2 screws tho.

> 3 dayBeen using the SSD as my boot drive on an iMac for the past year, and this has been absolutely amazing. Superb speeds, on par if not superior than the Samsung or WD, being fractions cheaper. Well done Crucial. Great deal.

03-04-2025I have only had the issue of Windows Explorer restarting and not being able to use mouse pad or keyboard shortcut to shut down laptop twice. Ever since the second time it happened I have not had the problem again. I am studying to be an IT Technician in College and have a bit of technical experience with laptops and desktops over the years. I would recommend this to others. If you are following the same type of path I am then it will be easy for you to install as well. Just make sure you use Acronis software to clone your hard drive after you install it in a laptop or desktop. You can use a USB to connect you old hard drive to clone it. I would also like to mention dont use easeuse software because it will damage your new hard drive.

> 3 dayIve had this for a few months and I can say its a really good buy. Even better when you buy it on sale. As you would expect of a Gen 3 NVMe, this thing allows you to boot OS, start applications, do file transfers at really fast rates. ^_^

03-04-2025Purchased this 2TB upgrade for my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (6th Gen). Cloned my existing drive as is using Acronis then installed in computer. The Lenovo diagnostic and repair utility started automatically, then selecting the advanced options I was able to select the new drive as the primary boot device. After that everything worked fine. I didnt really expect much except increased capacity given the problems Intel has been having with chipset fixes through Microsoft updates, but in fact the increased speed over my original P2 is easy to see. Displays are more snappy, software loading is faster, software controls are more crisp. Overall, a great product!

> 3 dayWhile the drive didnt include any M.2 mounting hardware like a screw and standoff, I was using this drive to upgrade my laptop that already had all the necessary mounts, screws and heat spreader. The top surface is covered by a sticker that DOES NOT conduct heat. If you use a heat spreader, REMOVE THE STICKER. Picked it up on sale for a very good price, and I am satisfied with my purchase. All 1TB was made available so I could have a boot drive and a game drive.

Greater than one weekI bought this and had it the next day and popped it in no problem ... aside from the fact that I had to dig through my random spare parts box to find a screw. I copied all my files from my smaller m.2 to this one at 1.0 gbps and so far no issues. Just so lame it doesnt come with a screw.

> 3 dayProbably one of the easiest and fastest installs of any peripheral. I installed it and booted my PC with normal boot drive. Then used Windows 10 disk cloning software to just copy my current hard drive to the SSD. Once it was complete I rebooted, and I changed the boot disk to the news SSD and it worked flawlessly. I ran some benchmarks with crystal disk and its sequential read/write is just over 2,000 MB/s if I remember correctly. I’m very satisfied with everything especially considering its price.
