CTEK (56-304) Comfort Connect Extension Cable, 8.2 Feet

Seems like this is very old stock. Item packaging was in good condition, but wire inside was very brittle and wire inside of the insulation made a cracking noisy while straightening it from the packaged wire-tied coil. For an item intended on carrying consistent current from a complex charging unit to an expensive automotive battery in a Porsche, this seems very cheap. When attempting to return, the only displayed option was bought wrong part which seems suspicious and not accurate. Not happy!

A must have for any CTECK user! This is on my 68 GTO and I have it wired so the comfort connector stays on the battery terminals and comes out of the grill. All you need to do is route it away safely down and through the front grill. I have it secured in such a way I can easily disconnect my car from the wall charger unit and tuck the comfort connector away until I pull the car back in the garage. My only gripe is that this unit didn’t come with a rubber end cap. Easy fix though because I took the one off the wall charger unit. The car is going to see more of the elements than the charger in my garage so it only makes sense that the comfort connector would be capped off. All in all, one of the best investments for any classic car owner/collector. Thanks Jay(Leno) for putting me on to CTEK!

CHARGE UP THE VETTE, AT LEAST, ONCE A MONTH!! DUE TO THE WALL SOCKET LOCATION IN MY GARAGE, DRAPING POWER CORDS ALL OVER JUST TO USE MY CTEK CHARGING UNIT MADE THE FLOOR UNSAFE FOR ME TO WALK AROUND ITEMS ALREADY PLACED ON THE FLOOR. I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE CORDS AND WAS ABLE TO SAFELY LOCATE THE CHARGING UNIT AND CORDS SO THAT WHEN I CHARGE BIG RED, ITS SAFE FOR ME TO MOVE ABOUT IN MY GARAGE. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND AT A GREAT PRICE.

It’s a must have adapter for longer extension run to hook up to the ctek charger. This adds an additional 10 feet for those hard to reach wall charger hook up.

The plug fits perfectly into the existing CTEK charging cable as expected. Not much more to add. If you need additional length in your charging cord, then this is the extension cable to buy.

This did no work on the Corvette charger I bought. That charger doesnt have the comfort connect plugs on it.

Connected perfectly to my trickle charger. Enabled me to move the charger off the windshield of my Porsche and place in on the ground.

Not too much to say here other than if you need an extension cable for your CTEK battery tender this will do the trick. If you appreciate the quality of the CTEK battery tender you will likewise be happy with the cable. I works wonderfully for us.

I like these comfort connects over the old school sae connector. When I swapped to my lithium battery I wanted it to be obvious so I remember not to use my old battery tenders with my lithium battery so this is perfect. This extension could be longer but it will do I suppose.
