CTEK (56-304) Comfort Connect Extension Cable, 8.2 Feet

> 3 dayI bought two of these cables so I can charge my battery while my truck sits in my driveway. I use one extension when I can get close enough to the overhead door, I add the second when it is a little further back (leaving room to get my trash / recycling cans and other stuff in and out of my garage). So far both work as intended, and no problems when using two extensions together.

> 3 dayWorks great. Clicks nicely and securely. It extends the battery connection to outside the trunk space so the charger can be more conveniently located. The cable did not affect how the charger senses the voltage or charges the battery. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWas exactly as described. Connector is polarized so you can’t mess it up.

> 3 dayThis was purchased in order to store a car in the garage during the winter. Performed flawlessly. Had zero issues for almost 4.5 continuous months. Used it in conjunction with the CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 + the CTEK (56-263) Comfort Connect Cig Plug.

Greater than one weekI own 2 of these cables. Neither one works right. I have a CTEK MXS 5.0 charger that I use to maintain my 2 AGM car batteries. In fact, I like the charger so much I bought a second one. I dont know if its the connectors or the cable itself, but when its used with this charger, the charger will get stuck in DESULFATION mode at the beginning of the program and take nearly forever to progress, if at all. Maybe theres some resistance or a bad connector faking out the chargers voltage sensing, but I just cant use this cable with it. Ive tried snugging up the connectors and using an anti-ox compound to help with resistance, but no luck. I dont recommend anyone purchase this item if you use a CTEK MXS 5.0 at least. I just hook it up straight to the comfort pigtails that are installed on both my auto batteries with no issues, so theres something wrong with this particular extension cable.

> 3 dayThis cable extension is a must have if you have a late model corvette and you want to be able to close the rear hatch completely. The cable that comes with the Ctek charger is to thick and causes the rear trunk on the corvette to pop up and I think long term storage on fiberglass that would be bad. The extension cord lies flat and you can actually slide it in the gap even with the rear hatch fully closed. Well worth the good price.

21-11-2024The plug fits perfectly into the existing CTEK charging cable as expected. Not much more to add. If you need additional length in your charging cord, then this is the extension cable to buy.

> 3 dayIt’s a must have adapter for longer extension run to hook up to the ctek charger. This adds an additional 10 feet for those hard to reach wall charger hook up.

Greater than one weekProduct As expected. Could be a little longer since I have a big garage and got this to avoid using an extension cord.
