This extension enables me to charge my battery and safely run the cord away from foot traffic.

I was a little disappointed that the wire used is pretty stiff for the duty. Im a little concerned that flexing in service here will lead to premature failure. It hasnt failed yet (too early to tell). I was expecting the wire conductors to be the same more flexible materials used for the maintainers, and its definitely different. It may never be an issue, depending on how many disconnect, hang the cable, then reconnect cycles it has to endure in my service. The connectors work well, just wish it would have had the specs in the listing. It is only 16AWG and can support 10A Max. I was planning on splicing it into my 12AWG, 50A system, but cant now.

This CTEK extension allows me to connect the alligator clips to my battery while having the battery charger inside near the outlet. Very handy in the winter when I need to top off a infrequently driven vehicle while not leaving the garage door open. The wiring is not too thick (which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it) and doesnt appear to effect the current coming from the charger. Although, when using the extension, I have noticed the voltage drops to 14.12 instead of the advertised 14.4 in the owners manual during stage 3.

Quality built. Works fine. Purchased to maintain the battery in my C8 Corvette.

Works as expected. One thing with high amp products, it might spark sending be surprised. I was in my dry garage during the rain when plugged it in and there was a small spark and noise but I was expecting this. I wish there was a ground on the wall side but understand they attempted to make this country agnostic and wide support.

These extension wires are JUNK. The wire is very stiff and not flexible or pliable. Extension wires are an essential component of any battery tender system. These wires are a deal breaker for any CTEK product. How can CTEK produce such garbage? I have no confidence in the company.

Works great. Clicks nicely and securely. It extends the battery connection to outside the trunk space so the charger can be more conveniently located. The cable did not affect how the charger senses the voltage or charges the battery. I highly recommend this product.

great to run thru front grill (cover the end) so no hood release operation.
