Updated July 9, 2021: Tech support saw my original review and proactively contacted me to upgrade their projector SW/Firmware. The upgrade fixed both the Aux-out volume (now we have cinema sound) and IOS mirror issue. I have adjusted the product rating accordingly. Now its a great projector which i would recommend you purchase/try. Thanks again to tech-support for helping me out. Original Review: Indoor video and sound is very good to excellent. Will test outdoors later and adjust rating as needed. Knocked off 1 star because IOS Mirroring did not work for me. Knocked off 2nd star because AuxOut to speaker lowered the external speaker volume. It does not seem to have enough juice from Aux out for the 2 different speakers I tried which eliminates cinema experience potential.

Good little projector, relatively quiet and easy to setup. It reads USB drives, but only FAT-formatted ones; from the USB drive it can read movies, office files, and photos, but it does not form a slideshow from jpeg photos and I wish it did. iOS screenshare works right out of the box as soon as you connect to wifi. For the price, you wont find anything better. I would recommend to others.

This is the 3rd projector we’ve tried. This is was also our first opportunity to really use it since we bought several months ago. The first one quit 3/4 if the way through the very first movie, but that one wasnt nearly bright enough anyway. The second one we tried was bright enough but picture quality was terrible. This one is perfect. The picture Ive posted was about 7:40 at night on September 17th… to give you an idea of outdoor light conditions. We’ve only used it once so far, and watched 1.5 movies before the kids all melted down and just had to go to bed. But the projector worked flawlessly. The audio from the projector itself is terrible, but they are all terrible from this price point so I cant even fault it for that. The screen mirroring works well, however, you cannot watch movies through streaming services that way due to copyright laws. We plug our firestick directly into the projector, and use the firesticks bluetooth capability to connect to an external bluetooth speaker. That gives us what we want for picture and sound. All of our guests were impressed and thought it was very cool. We are happy. I will update review if I run into any issues.

This is my 4th try at finding a good sub $300 projector that can be used for home theater and for web browsing. I use my projector to stream movies/tv as well as browse the web (windows pc, hdmi). The other 3 projector brands (also sub $300) worked adequately for movies/tv, but failed miserably at rendering clear and focused text. This was my last try, if unsuccessful I was ready to step up to the over $500 price range. Glad I gave this brand a try. Reason it did not get 5-stars: there is no User setting for contrast, brightness, or picture mode; you have to live with the out-of-the-box image settings.

I was looking for a projector to use for Halloween projections. This unit was a big surprise for me. It was great for that but even more it is a great projector for watching tv or videos. The picture is huge and bright. I set it up on my wall in my living room and it filled the entire wall. I had to zoom in to make the picture smaller just to fit. Thats awesome. The other features all worked just fine. My only complaint is when you use a thumb drive for playing video files, the video will restart from the beginning if you stop the video. It will not start where you stopped. Not a deal breaker! The fan is a little noisy but has a decent built in speaker. Im impressed with the DB POWER, its a great value and great unit. And I love the padded carrying case it comes with.

11/27/21 Updated: I contacted the seller to see about how to possibly clean the unit and since they advised there was no way I could do it without potentially harming the unit, they sent me out a new unit at no charge. I wouldnt recommend this unit for heavy use due to it not being able to filter out dust particles very well and no way to clean the inside. Five stars to the seller though for replacing my unit quickly. Paid more for this than other projectors I had in the past hoping the filter would help keep the dust out that ultimately ruins the pictures and it did nothing. You can see in the picture there are black dust specks all over the picture. It started in the upper left corner and migrated throughout the whole picture. If you look into the lens you can see them on the inside projector lens. there is no way to clean that part. We use a freshly painted white wall as our screen so its not a screen issue, its a projector issue. I would not recommend this unit if you plan on regular use. Probably only good for occasional use so you dont get the dust build-up.

I like that its set up is easy and well documented. Brighter than I expected. Firestick works great. The USB port power up the stick so I did not have to run power up the the Firestick. I wish there was more output options. Only Audio out through a mini connector. Did hook it up to a sound bar and it sounded pretty good.

I use this projector on a daily basis on a 200 inch screen. Comes out with crystal clear video and looks great. However if you plan to use the iOS cast or google casting make sure you have a fast Wi-Fi. Not the projectors fault at all, just something you should take into consideration.

This projector performs well above its price range. We use it while camping, and use an Amazon FireStick for media streaming. The internal speaker setup is adequate for us within about a 15’ area, and even project through a screen window sometimes (depending on best placement options for the projector screen). No complaints whatsoever for HD video streaming, and it connects quickly and easily to Wifi networks. The manual keystone feature is very nice for an outdoor/mobile setup, and the easy-adjust focus dial on the front makes setup super easy. We have used this at least 20 times since purchase and are always content/complimented on how clean and crisp the video is. The carry case is very handy and has enough storage to secure the projector, Amazon FireStick, cords/cables and both remotes. If you’re shopping for a projector in this price range, just get this one.

Great product, however there are no directions on how to remove the lens cover. The trick is to pull it off, may have to use extra force to pull it off from one side. The projector itself is amazing. It is bright, clear, and great quality. The picture shows it projecting against the wall of the house and it is amazing even just against a stucco wall! Sound is loud and clear. This is a fantastic projector!!
