> 3 dayI wanted to be able to watch TV in my bedroom without needing to run cables and make space for a television. I decided to use a projector. This one seemed to be a good combination of quality and price. I added a Chromecast and now have an amazing entertainment setup. The 1080p resolution is enough for a clear, quality picture. The colors are bright and vibrant. With sunlight in the room, it will be difficult to watch, but the picture is bright enough where you will not need a completely dark room. Im very pleased with it. I really appreciate that DBPower put effort into the UI/UX as it is easy to understand all the menu options and settings. Many of the cheaper projectors fail here.

> 3 dayPurchased this projector when local rental companies had no availability for the date I needed. Very surprised at the brightness and picture quality. Connecting to my phone was easy and flawless and connecting to my STB via HDMI was perfect. Sound was a little lacking, especially in the field of view, but that was expected. Easy set up. Storage case works great and provides decent protection while in storage.

> 3 dayTrust the reviewers saying the audio has a really low cap. The built in volume is loud enough indoors, but it goes no louder when you use a speaker device with it. The projector itself seems to cause a limit to volume for some reason. I tried ignoring that when I bought it. The screen was pretty dim, even with the lights off. Nothing compared to the brightness on my phone or laptop. Colors were pretty soft too even with different settings built to increase vividness. Casting was the real issue. Tried using my phone to mirror streaming services, but ran into the built in HDCP (digital content protection). No way around it. If you cant stream Netflix, Disney+, or Prime video, why even advertise that you can cast with your phone? Device is severely limited, but functional if you dont have much preference, hence my three star review.

> 3 dayI completely tested 5 $250 and below projectors and this was the best of the bunch. It had the brightest picture, the best sound by a long shot (didnt want to have to fuss with external BT speakers etc) and is easy to use and setup. This one does NOT have BT capability, but you wont need it anyway. Planning to use it for occasional movies and some Fall football on the garage door and wanted simple and quick. I am so far very pleased with this projector for the money. The screen size in my pictures is 150 to 170 inches and still pretty darn clear dorectly on the aluminium door. Biggest thing for me was the sound is really good amd just fine at half volume for normal viewing. About what you would expect from a TV.

> 3 dayI just got to play with it. So far Im very happy with the picture. However there seems to be some issue with the volume. If I want to hook speakers up thru the projector it just DOES NOT get very loud at all. I really am hoping I can find a way to combat this

> 3 dayInfo says not for powerpoint presentations but I found the text to be acceptable. Settings are limited but cover all the basics. Feet are not adjustable so had to use other methods to change the viewing angle. Sound was excellent. I liked this a lot and would recommend. Good value!

> 3 dayThe projector worked great and was everything I expected. The quality of the picture was good and very light weight. Only think I would suggest it providing carrying case but that is just me being picky. We use it for outdoor movie nights.

> 3 dayI use this projector on a daily basis on a 200 inch screen. Comes out with crystal clear video and looks great. However if you plan to use the iOS cast or google casting make sure you have a fast Wi-Fi. Not the projectors fault at all, just something you should take into consideration.

> 3 dayI recommend this DBPower Projector if you want a decent alternative to a 120 inch TV. This is the king of its class in Projectors. This is why: Cons 1. Remote did not come with AAA batteries. 2. Remote buttons are not back-lit. 3. Must register unit with manufacturer to receive warranty. Pros 1. Instant big screen TV. At a distance of 8 foot the projector displays the same as a 75 inch TV. The further back you go the bigger it gets. Image is still sharp and crisp at 15 feet from wall. 2. Ability to input two HDMi sources. 3. Input from AV stereo source. 4. Input from two USB sources 5. Input from Mobile phone via Miracast or screen share or equivalent. 6. Low operating noise level. 7. It is bright at daytime / office light as well as in a dark room. In conclusion, the DBPower 1080p Projector will delight and enthusiast because of its brightness, contrast, low operating noise level, number of Input sources and price under 300 dollars.

> 3 dayAs far as picture and built in speakers go this projector is great and is a big upgrade from my $1000 Optoma EH500 projector. I was also pleasantly surprised that the sound has an equalizer. However, i received an open box which wasnt even properly repackaged for resale. The box and protective foam were reaped and remote along with lens cover where just loose at the bottom of the bag. Also the remote already had batteries in it. With that being said, the projectors fan is extremely loud and has a buzzing sound with a screeching undertone to it, and because i received an open box i cant even tell if its supposed to be like that or someone previously returned the device because of a faulty fan. So unfortunately i will be returning it and trying a different product. Hope the seller takes note.
