Purchased this projector along with Amazon’s plug-in streaming device to create a hangout spot for my teenagers. Picture quality is excellent and the sound is pretty decent as well (though I intentionally purchased an Amazon sound device to pair as well - pairing the projector and the Amazon device was super-easy!) Kids had a Halloween Frightfest movie night a few days after receiving, and it’s been pretty hard to convince them to come inside since. Very happy with purchase!

This lense is bright enough for a descent picture in the day time and very vivid and crisp at night. Great picture quality and sound. The setup is so easy and quick and the overall fan sound is quieter than most other products. This projector even comes with a travel case and is a nice portable size

It was great, bright, affordable, and good audio. We really liked it as a daily use TV replacement. But within 60 days we noticed the left side started to look yellow. As the weeks went on it got darker and more noticeable. Now it looks like a urine stain on the wall whenever we turn it on. The last projector we got from DB did this too, maybe something to do with the bulb? Maybe we run it too long? But either way it’s too noticeable to use now. If you want this for occasional use then this will last you a long time but for daily use its going to wear out on you in less than a year.

Hosting an NFL Draft get together this week and needed something for projecting in our garage. I currently have an ASUS mini projector, but the brightness is not good unless completely dark and the sound level is too low. Based on other reviews, I thought to check this unit out and I was very happy with the results. Even in an area that gets a moderate amount of light, the picture quality is very good and at 50/100, the volume fills the area without issue. The remote that comes with the unit works very well and the setup was painless. Hope this unit holds up because I can imagine playing games in the garage and hosting Packers parties this fall. Great value and Id recommend it.

We’ve used the projector once so far to watch a movie outside. Because of the high luminescence of it, we were able to start watching during dusk. The picture quality is so good that we plan to use it as our main “tv”, replacing our 60” led tv. If it’s too much hassle to take down after we mount it, we’ll probably by another to use outside.

I’ve tried and returned 3 other units ranging from 100-200 dollars and this one was MILES above the rest in regards to clarity, range and ease of use. Was by far the most seamless when playing from phone to projector (casting and using a lightning to hdmi cord). extremely happy with this unit

UPDATE- The company reached out to me and sent me a new one, so I decided to review it fairly. I believe I received a defective unit, so I highly recommend everyone who purchases this item to test it properly, because a working one of these is great: *** Upon opening the projector, you’re greeted by a very cute small backpack that opens all the way to reveal the projector and a few cables - hdmi, AV (I think), and the power cord. You also have a manual and a remote. The projector itself comes with a lens cap, and is absolutely amazing. You’re greeted with the home screen, which gives you access to each input, and the settings. I connected a Chromecast to this, but the screen share on it is amazing and reliable. I’m able to connect my phone within just a few seconds. The quality is definitely 1080p, and the focus is super easy. However, the part that stands out to me the most is keystone. I can put my projector anywhere in my room and keystone it so that it looks straight. This feature makes it so worth it, because it maintains the quality really well. In terms of brightness, the projector is pretty bright. At nighttime you might have to turn the brightness down, and you can see the screen in a light daylight, I’d definitely not recommend trying it in direct sunlight though. I watched a 3 hour movie and a few episodes of a show today, and it was great. No burning, no overheating, nothing. Only time will tell if it survives, but customer service is great to contact if you need any help or notice anything strange. The only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth, which can be solved with a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the unit’s USB port. Regardless, for the price, this is definitely the best and simplest projector you can buy if you’re hosting a party outdoors, indoors, or just need something quick and easy. —old review below— I received this projector this afternoon and was so pleasantly surprised when opening it. It arrived in a whole backpack! I was stunned. I began removing the accessories, setting everything up, and turned it on. It was beautiful, especially the keystone correction was amazing. Then comes nighttime. I turned it back on with my friends to watch my first movie on it. In the middle of the movie, my friend closest to the projector said he smelled something funny. We all looked over at the projector to see it smoking from the vents. The screen began turning brown, so we quickly unplugged the projector and put it on the floor so it doesn’t burn our table What started as such an amazing purchase turned into a disaster, in only a few hours. Looking at the other reviews I see similar things have happened after months of usage, but I also see so much positivity. Are these just defective units? I can’t imagine something that looked so promising can spontaneously combust. Now the projector shows brown all over the image, and I won’t keep it on for more than 2 minutes or else it heats up quickly. I really wish this worked for me.

What a fantastic projector! It met all my expectations and exceeded many. I was planning to buy a descent projector for a long time together with a good signal source for it. I care about brightness, colors and picture size and quality. I really liked the brightness of the image and the size of the picture - my wall is around 150. 4d correction technology allowed me to offset the projector, so it just sits on the top of my shelf on the wall and not directly in front of the projected image. I believe now good quality of the image is much more affordable because of that new LED technology, than it used to be, you do not need to pay thousands for the brightness and image quality..

All I can say is WOW! I got this mainly for outdoor use and watching movies with the family in the backyard in summer. This is a perfect projector that meets all the needs I had. I wanted something that could stream content to wirelessly without having to bring out a computer or other source. It does both iOS cast and Miracast. I successfully streamed movies from an iPhone12 using Plex and also from a Windows 10 PC using screen projection wirelessly. Both worked great. The iOS Cast was a little jittery from time to time but it seemed to only occur if I was using the iPhone at the same time so it seemed to be related to the iPhone and not the projector. From Miracast it was flawless. Taking this outside I was utterly surprised at how good the picture looked projecting onto a beige stucco wall. All the attached pictures are on the exterior of our house without a screen! I thought I would definitely need to get a screen setup but I may not even have to with this projector when used outdoors. I am sure it will look even better with one though. I also had to adjust the image a little bit to get it to fit just right on the wall between 2 windows and this projector had built in digital keystone and zoom features that made it easy, as well as an adjustable focus lens. Also, the built in audio was amazing. I did not expect to even use it, but I couldnt believe how loud it gets. It will actually work great for outdoor use and eliminates the need to stream the audio to another device. Pros: -Very good price -Very bright and looks great without a screen -Lots of adjustments: Manual keystone (attached image shows keystone adjustment), ceiling/floor mount, focusing lens, digital zoom. -Great sound -remote is easy to use -Casting wirelessly is very easy to setup (both iOS and Miracast) -USB ports on back for powering a Fire Stick or TiVo Strick -HDMI inputs -Sturdy and well built -Comes with A/V cables Cons -Did not come with batteries for the remote -Fan noise seemed a bit loud at first but once a movie was on and the volume was up, it was not a distraction at all

As the headline says, this is nowhere close to 9,500lumens. Any claims to the contrary are simply an outright lie. I picked this up for a room with a lot of ambient light, knowing that the brightness claim was going to be a lie, but figured it was worth a shot, especially with a free return through Prime. After getting everything set up I would say it is almost as bright as my 5y/o Epson ex5220 which was rated at 3,000lumens when it was new and probably has 500hrs on the bulb at this point. I knew an 9,500lumen projector for under $300 was too good to be true and it is. If you can get over the misleading brightness claims; overall its a decent cheap projector. The streaming from a device is glitchy, but they all are all. As mentioned in other reviews it has a HDCP, which means youre not going to be able to stream from a service, like Netflix or Disney+ which makes it pretty useless for everything but a presentation. The 4point keystone adjustment is nice, and everything else is tidy and works as expected. If I hadnt been buying it specifically for its brightness Id probably keep it, but cant handle such misleading claims, especially when they are so comically overstated like this one. If youre buying for the brightness stay far, far away, if you need a middle of the road cheap projector this will probably suffice.
