Greater than one weekWhat a fantastic projector! It met all my expectations and exceeded many. I was planning to buy a descent projector for a long time together with a good signal source for it. I care about brightness, colors and picture size and quality. I really liked the brightness of the image and the size of the picture - my wall is around 150. 4d correction technology allowed me to offset the projector, so it just sits on the top of my shelf on the wall and not directly in front of the projected image. I believe now good quality of the image is much more affordable because of that new LED technology, than it used to be, you do not need to pay thousands for the brightness and image quality..

> 3 dayReally expected this to be brighter. i have it in a 20 x 40 building with 12 high ceilings with only diffuse light coming in and this is not bright enough. The room needs to be dark or you need to be close (e.g. within about 10 of the wall, so that the image is about a 65 TV size) for it to be bright enough. Probably ok for presentations as long as the font is not too small, or movies but try and use it to show computer terminal screens? Forget it.

> 3 dayGreat product, however there are no directions on how to remove the lens cover. The trick is to pull it off, may have to use extra force to pull it off from one side. The projector itself is amazing. It is bright, clear, and great quality. The picture shows it projecting against the wall of the house and it is amazing even just against a stucco wall! Sound is loud and clear. This is a fantastic projector!!

> 3 dayI should have paid closer attention to the fact that it doesn’t have Bluetooth otherwise it was a good projector.

Greater than one weekI like the projector so far. My only complaint is that it does not display properly when the HDMI is ran through an adapter. My MacBook Pro only has USB C type ports, so I need to use an adapter to run HDMI from my laptop to the projector. However, this causes my screen to not project properly. It splits my display into two small boxes like Mario Kart multiplayer instead of one full screen. To fix this, I just bought a USB C to HDMI cable so I dont have to face any lag from airplay/wifi.

> 3 dayI recommend this DBPower Projector if you want a decent alternative to a 120 inch TV. This is the king of its class in Projectors. This is why: Cons 1. Remote did not come with AAA batteries. 2. Remote buttons are not back-lit. 3. Must register unit with manufacturer to receive warranty. Pros 1. Instant big screen TV. At a distance of 8 foot the projector displays the same as a 75 inch TV. The further back you go the bigger it gets. Image is still sharp and crisp at 15 feet from wall. 2. Ability to input two HDMi sources. 3. Input from AV stereo source. 4. Input from two USB sources 5. Input from Mobile phone via Miracast or screen share or equivalent. 6. Low operating noise level. 7. It is bright at daytime / office light as well as in a dark room. In conclusion, the DBPower 1080p Projector will delight and enthusiast because of its brightness, contrast, low operating noise level, number of Input sources and price under 300 dollars.

> 3 dayUpdated July 9, 2021: Tech support saw my original review and proactively contacted me to upgrade their projector SW/Firmware. The upgrade fixed both the Aux-out volume (now we have cinema sound) and IOS mirror issue. I have adjusted the product rating accordingly. Now its a great projector which i would recommend you purchase/try. Thanks again to tech-support for helping me out. Original Review: Indoor video and sound is very good to excellent. Will test outdoors later and adjust rating as needed. Knocked off 1 star because IOS Mirroring did not work for me. Knocked off 2nd star because AuxOut to speaker lowered the external speaker volume. It does not seem to have enough juice from Aux out for the 2 different speakers I tried which eliminates cinema experience potential.

> 3 dayProjector seems great. Had to return due to missing remote, carrying case and no instruction manual. Clearly an open box item. I called Amazon and they emailed me the manual but wanted to send me a gift card to purchase the remote myself?? No thanks. Returned and reordered.

> 3 dayThe bad: - Not very bright ( close to 1,000 lumens), which, as expected, is nowhere near the imaginary 8,000+ in the listing. This projector is really for a completely dark room. The good: - Fan is relatively quiet - Decent picture out of the box - Fast start - Digital zoom - Decent interface although you should expect some jumpiness when streaming from your phone This is actually a decent projector in terms of features. It just wasn’t bright enough for us (returned it). We ended up buying a 3,000 lumen cheapie from Best Buy. The difference in brightness isn’t even close.
